Think positive All will be fine. Congratulations on your little Emmitt. How exciting to be waiting for a new little furbaby to arrive. Love and patience is all the wisdom I can give you. Each one, like humans, are different in personality. I am sure everything will be just wonderful. YOu can always come to YT for assistance when needed. | How exciting for you and your family! I would suggest you get to sleep early with sugar plums dancing in your head...uh, guess that's Christmas Eve but it probably feels like that. And when you wake up the day will have arrived! Looking forward to pictures. |

| You better believe I'm posting pictures Hopefully a video or two as ell. LOL! Thank you all for your advise. I know he will bring us so much happiness. I just hope that we can bring him has much happiness if not more. We already love this little guy to death. I can't even imagine what it's going to be like having him here finally!!! This will be my husbands first time owning any animal. He had horrible childhood allergies and asthma. So he is nervous about being a dog owner. But I know he will do an awesome job This will be my first time ever owning a small breed dog. So I took lots of notes from you and have been practicing the shuffle. LOL! I'm still trying to get the rest of the family in the habit of doing the same. I saw a couple members here recommend a cat collar for yorkies so you can hear where they are. Is this ok to keep on them at all times with a harness... or should I be removing? Also, is it ok to keep his harness on him through out the day? I'm so scared that his harness will snag something and he'll struggle and hurt himself. Can you tell I'm really nervous

| ...I am so envious hearing you talk about it!!! and so very excited/happy for you. We have a new baby coming (Miss Chloe) but will be several more weeks before she is ready. I cant wait to follow your post over the next few weeks (will keep me busy) to see how it is all going and see that cute little face. I used a ferret/soft mesh style harness so it was not so binding/hard and left it on Cooper all day when he was a baby....I just went to the craft store and bought jingle bells and attached one on his harness instead of the collar, and worked wonders for us we could always hear where he was when we moved. Congrats to you!!! let me warn you though you will be shocked how fast that baby stills your husbands heart! My DH is a big guy and him and Cooper just love each other to pieces...he actually calls me on his break to ask what Cooper is doing...LOL.

You and me both about having trouble with sleeping. LOL! I tried my best to get at least five and I think I have managed too Please post some pictures when you get a chance. My hubby is taking off work today so he can go with us to pick Emmitt up. He's using one of his vacation days. I can't believe he is this excited. He's not a big animal lover like my girls and I. Ha!
