Karlee will be joining my furbaby bunch 2 Attachment(s) I know pretty much everyone knows about little Karlee and her poor family that has been fighting so hard to keep her, but allergies have won. Well, I have been debating on posting that I am bringing her home with me today because it is such a bittersweet situation. I just feel so horrible for the family. :( I so wish with all of my heart that she could stay with them. I feel guilty for being excited about today and know that it is going to be so hard for them to hand her over to a new family. I just want them to know that she will be loved so so much. I just wanted to let everyone know what is happening with her. I am picking her up at 6:00 tonight. Here is some pics she sent a couple days ago. She is such a pretty little girl. |
I felt so bad for the family as well. Knowing she is going to a YT member may help them. Congratulations and good luck. |
I am so glad she will be going to a loving home, that is wonderful! :) |
none There is an old saying: " It is an ill wind that blows nobody good." I'm glad that Karlee will have a wonderful new home. May she live a long, happy life. I don't think anybody is allergic to photos so take loads and send them back to Karlee's first skin family. |
You are 2 very special families. Karlee is a lucky little dog. |
I am so sure it is a great comfort to Karlee's first family to know that she will be loved and cared for. May you have many happy years. |
Congratulations she is lovely, I am sorry for the family.. but pictures are always reasurring.. can't wait for you to post pictures of her when you get her.. |
What a very special story and filled with love. |
Ive been following karlee story, I know this has to be so very hard on her family, I hope everything works out for you all, and knowing she will be in a loving home makes its easier on all ;) |
Congrats! Glad a fellow YT member stepped up to the plate to help this little girl :) |
well shes so cute goodluck |
Oh, I'm so glad....God bless you and Karlee. I know this is bittersweet for both families involved, but I also know you will do great with her. Karlee is very lucky to find her way into your heart. She will have so many furry friends to play with at your house! CONGRATS! :) |
i'm so very glad that miss Karlee will be going to a YT home so we can all continue to watch her grow up. i hope that the family can at least visit her occasionally and possibly in the future if her puppy dander goes away and her adult silky hair comes in, they can actually be around her more and the allergies will subside. i hope you keep us all posted with lots of pictures as we are all invested in her life as well. as for the family, we are all so sorry for your sadness over loosing your fur baby, but having her always near through pictures and yt must be a blessing. |
Although this may be a bittersweet situation for both families. Take solace in knowing that Kaylee with be loved so much. I'm very happy that a You a fellow YT'er has her this way we will always know how she is doing. Congrat's on your new baby girl. |
Congrats on your new baby!! :D I'm sure Karlee's family feels so much better knowing she's going to live with you...I know I would if I were in their shoes. Good luck. |
I can understand, but at least they know that she will in a loving and caring home. :) They can watch her grow up. |
I am so glad you are getting Karlee. Hope Roscoe is ok will all the little ones. Jack came from the same situation and you saw how much of a mama's boy he is. His boy had allergies to him. They come visit about once every two months and the poor boy get hives after a few min. Congratulations we know Karlee has a wonderful home and his first family will be keep updated on her. |
It is a sad story. But now Kaylee will have 2 families who love her. Bless you for helping them and Kaylee. |
Wow, you have definitely added to your pack in the last couple months!! Congrats. It is good to know she will grow up on YT :D |
Awww, isn't she pretty. Sounds like the perfect family, two boys and two girls! Congrats to you and I know that you will take plenty of pictures that will help sooth the hearts of Karlee and her family. |
Although it is bittersweet, I think Karlee is very lucky to have so many people who love her so much. She's obviously a very special little girl :) |
karlee will be loved and cared for in her new home...who could ask for anything more. You're a great person for being there to take care of her. Just seeing her growing and pictures of her will comfort her former family. |
what a happy ending to this story, good luck |
Congrats! That is awesome that Karlee is joining your furbaby bunch :) ! I had been following the posts about Karlee. So happy she found a home with someone here on YT. |
Thank you guys so much for all of the well wishes. I am so nervous about tonight. I know it is going to be so hard on her family. I have told them they can definitely visit and I would be willing to meet half way sometimes since it is 3 1/2 -4 hour drive. And of course I LOVE taking pictures. I will post tonight after I get her home. Please pray for her family. |
Congratulations!!!! How ironic, reading those horrible threads on puppy mills and busted dog fighting rings and the appalling conditions of neglected and abused puppies and dogs and then to come over here and see so many coming together with love, care and concern over the welfare of one, singular little puppy, and the healing of a family in emotional pain, all over the love of animals. Karlee is one lucky little lady! Double loved and double blessed! Once again, congratulations on your new addition. May you and Karlee's 'starter family' have a long and joy filled relationship of shared memories. |
