| Needing bloodline infomation please Hello to all,I just purchased my first yorkie 2 months ago.I have fallen head over heals.I am looking to purchase a female for my boy but would like to be more educated about what bloodlines I should look for.My boy has the burgudy line but i must admit I really dont know what that means. Thank you in advance for reply. |

| That just means that is the name of the kennel where that line of dogs were started. When they mention names like that they normally came fom show breeders. you can google it to find out more information. You can look for another from that line. or research another line. Mine came from the Nikko line. The well known lines have made names for themselves by producing a lot of champions. |

| Burgandy is one of the better lines out there. If it is in the first three generations, then you have something good there. Some of my older dogs had that. I would love to run across a well bred dog with Burgandy now. it is a very old line and not many are left. |

| looking at Snuffy's pedigree his mother and father are burgudy as well.On mother's side going back all 3 generations have been burgudy. By the way when looking at pedigree what does M.V. mean.I have many of those also |
