From the polls it looks like the concensus is a spring convention in the middle of the country.

Kansas
Texas
Chicago
Colorado

Any other ideas or suggestions?

Yes, it is!! We want to have a big get together with YT members. Just in the planning stage right now.

hmmm, honestly.. I don't know how everyone else feels about it.. but if it isn't driving distance, then I wouldn't go...

I think having a convention, no matter where you decided to have it.. is just going to be a meet up, and only end up having a small amount of people there. I'm not sure anyone who isn't loaded would have the money to actually fly anywhere.

I agree.

Also, I hate to sound like a pessimist, but I wouldn't go anywhere that's not a big city. Its just not reasonable for finding pet friendly hotels. Also, the place needs to have very good public transportation since if I flew there, I would not want to rent a car.

Yes I would like to see it in Washington State myself not only because I live here but because the ppl that started it lives here also. Then the following year it could be somewhere else.

I'm with you. If it's somewhere that I can't get to within a few hours drive I wouldn't go. No offense to anyone.

Where do you live in Colorado? My husband, Rowdy and I spend a month every summer (well, this was Rowdy's first summer) on the Conejos river, between Chama New Mexico and Antonito Colorado.

HHHmmmmmmm? I already have a few vacations planned for the spring and the summer! So I may not be able to attend! But if it was Chicago, then maybe!!! Cuz then I can shop the lovely Michigan Ave!!!!! SO that would be my vote, but evven then not too sure if I could go!!!!!! ;)

Dang, I have to miss it all, as we are planning a trip to Germany in October for their big festival and to show the Biewers in their home land and meet some of the breeders there... Hey, why not Germany????? We are getting a group of yorkie lovers to go with us.... :D
