Helen Stutzman - Nolens Yorkies I was told that Helen ( known to be a wonderful breeder and kind woman) bred 26 puppies a " lot " of who are sick or dying. I am looking for the truth. I am not simply being nosy. I have 3 dogs from Helen... Helen was very good to me, I received an email that she passed away. I am then told by someone unrelated to her that the claim is a total lie and that she is hiding in Canada and has bred these sick puppies. For the sake of my dogs and my family I need to find the truth There is a LOT more to this story but I don't feel I should post it. If anyone bought a puppy from Helen and has had a problem please contact me. Specifically puppies ranging from, sold 7 months ago to 3 months ago. But including any... Thank you so much. |
I never heard of her selling sick puppies on here |
I know she was respected. I'm very confused. Just looking for the truth. |
I think she was a featured breeder on here even. There is a thread about her passing in the breeder section |
Here is a thread on her, a couple of the people purchased puppies from her. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/bre...ies-super.htmll |
I would suggest speaking with those that have already posted about Helen's passing. I am sure there is someone designated to her affairs as far as the wellness of her sold dogs. If you are having a problem, I'm sure you can call her place directly. |
Well.... You see, I am the one the original news of her passing came from.. I got a email from her daughter, I passed this to another breeder who then told others and thats how the question ended up here.. I have indeed called her home. The line is disconnected. I also called her cell and that is when I got the email with the news of her passing. Then I am told it is all lies and the babies are sick..So here was the only other place I could think of to find out about the health of the puppies. |

have you tried to find an obit? i tried to look at her website but it also has been taken down. She was thinking about buying one of my girls about a week before she went out of business, The last contact I had with her was when she wrote and told me she was going out of business due to health concerns. Didn't say what tho. I wished her well and haven't heard from her since. |

Vital statistic will take 8-10 weeks. My feeling on it is that Helen has passed away and that no her babies were not sick. But I need to find out since I could have one of the girls who had a litter with issues. If that IS the case I need to spay the girl who produced those babies. |

Was there a record of her having tests done on this girl? Could you contact the vet? What about testing her yourself before breeding her? I have not heard of anything negative on Helen. I have been googling her name and the only thing I am finding is positive comments... mainly through this website. I hope that the rumors are not true and shame one those who are trying to start up something about someone who has passed. Hope you get your answers. |

Hi, my name is Jill; I live in Troy, Al. and I have been reading post like 'FOREVER' and never posted mainly because my response is always posted by someone else. But.. I had to post to this thread because it pulled at my heartstrings and also got me 'very' upset. I purchased a pup from Helen in June of this year; her name is Addyson and she is a very 'active' healthy 4 pound girl. I found Helen to be a wonderful women who loved her breeder dogs and their offspring and would do anything possible for their health and well being. I was shocked to read about the quality of her pups being questioned and the fact that she is no longer with us. Helen's reputation is on the line here and the facts of the matter need to be brought to truth. I believe anybody that was lucky enough to purchase one of her pups has nothing to worry about. |
