I am so glad you are enjoying your baby. I love my adults from her like crazy. |
I purchased my Brody from Helen a year ago this December. He was from her Sept. 2008 litter. I was contacted by a YT member with concerns about my puppy having health issues and I immediately took him to the vet and had him tested. Thank God he was fine. I did try to contact Helen while all of this was going on and she never responded. I felt it was very unlike her and then I just stopped trying to contact her. I was satisfied with my vet's conclusions. I now have come upon this thread and I am so sad. If Helen did pass away like this thread is saying, then it all makes sense to me now. My hearfelt prayers go out to her family and her husband Noah. We need to fill our hearts with a little more compassion . |
" We need to fill our hearts with a little more compassion " I couldn't agree more. |
I'm an owner of a very healthy Nolen's Yorkie. Her client care was wonderful. As a breeder I'm going to chime in with my opinion. Helen bred for quite a few years and had her share of breeders. Given the fact that with the best of breeders, any disease can randomly present over time, I think she's done quite well. What matters are answers like were there many dogs to be found with the illness, if there were did she spay mom and dad? how she handled it with parents(was she helpful). It's really a mute point now. She was a a great breeder and person. |

Not sure where this started but Helen did not pass away; just retired. |
Kristie (little paws) i think it would be very respectful of you to have this thread closed. Helen was a dear friend to a lot of people here including me and one i will never forget both she & her husband Noah was some of the finest people i ever met. RIP dear friend |
1 Attachment(s) Hi, i was googling Helen/ Nolen's Yorkies since we adopted our beloved yorkie, Charms from her back in 2008 and came across this thread. Fast forward to today, Charms is almost 14 and has been healthy her whole life so far (knock on wood). I google'd Helen because another Yorkie of ours - Lucky just passed and I emailed Helen and got an undeliverable reply. I wanted to see how old Charms' parents: Eli and Molly are/were. We've had nothing but amazing experience back in 2008 with Helen and I'm sure and hope other pups from her are doing well as well? I'm very sad to hear that Helen has passed. If she was still breeding today, I would have loved to adopt another yorkie from her. Attached is a photo of Charms (left) and Lucky (right) |
