You helped me and didn't know it
 
None of you realize this but you have been the light at the end of my tunnel.

You see 5 wks ago my dad died and my sister and myself have been trying to make mums life worth carrying on.

I haven't been able to concentrate at work or even read a book or watch T.V.

Its been stressful all round but the only thing that helps me get away from it all ,is this forum and the people on it.

Im thankful for my Tia , if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be on here at all.

So thank you for the person that started this forum and to all of you for being who you are.
Sorry if it all sounds silly, I just needed to say it.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad. Hopefully, your mum's heart will heal enough with time to carry on life without him. I am glad that YT has been a place for you to come and find peace. We're here for you if you need us. Sending big, big hugs to you and Tia.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know it is a very hard thing to go through. The thing that keeps me going is that I know my dad would have felt really bad if I were sad all the time and I wasn't happy. My family needs me and your family needs you too. If you never forget, he will live on in your heart. Bless you and your family.

thanks, this is why I love being here. You maybe many miles away but you make me feel so close . Tia is getting me through and shes helping my mums dog as he is so sad and depressed too as he was more my dads dog.

I hope your family can continue to gain strength from each other and here. I know after losing my Mom a couple of years ago it was very difficult to grieve and care for my Dad and YT was a great help. Hugs

Its proving to be a very big help, I havn't got time to grieve yet I need to keep strong for others , theres too much to sort out

I am so very sorry for your loss. I know how painful it is to lose your parents. I think Tia will be a big, big help to you just as Sophie has been for me. Nothing can replace the love you share with your parents but your little yorkie Tia has a great big heart and will help you through this painful time with all the love and kisses she can give. Sweetie, I'm so sorry for you lose. I pray for peace for you and your family.

We are so lucky to have our babies during difficult times. My husband was in a car accident about a month ago and he is still out of work! The lady in the other car had a seizure and just barreled over him. He is so active and right now he is so limited and can't leave home except for Drs appts but Sadie is there with him everyday waking him up with kisses and going to bed snuggling b/w us and it makes the world of difference.

I am so very sorry for the recent loss of your dad. Dealing with the feelings of the loss and stress of handling all that goes along with the death of a loved one is a very difficult time for those left behind. It will get better and I send prayers for you and your family.
I understand your feelings about coming here not only to get away from it all for a while, but also for the support we have for our YT family. I know in my time of need, my YT friends would bring me great comfort.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a parent. I lost my dad in 2000, then a brother in 2003, that was so hard on my mom. It took so much out of her. We lost her in 2005. I still miss them very much. Stay strong, it will get better with time. I don't think we ever get over it, we just learn to deal with it as time goes on. Trust in God and he will see you through it. My prayers go out to you and your family.

:ghug:I am very sorry for your loss, when I lost my dad I never knew such pain.....you always here someone say there heart is broken and then I understood what they meant not just sadness but the feeling that nothing will ever be the same again......Just wanted to say it will get better, takes a LOT of time and belive it or not there will be a day you can think of your dad and instantly smile at the thought of memories instead of just feeling the pain. Keep Tia near and remember its ok to cry and grieve and please take time to do that for you....even though you have to be strong for others allow yourself that time to heal.

And remember it is also still ok to laugh, sometimes when you just cant take no more you know these babies pictures/videos will make you smile even for just a little while! :love-hug1

It takes time, lot's of time to heal from lossing a loved one.

Thank you Poppys mum , Its been 5 weeks and 3 days but its taken me a while before I can even type it. How mad is that!

I'm glad that we can be here for you. I lost my daddy very suddenly a year ago and I know exactly how you feel. My baby Kimbo helps brighten my days with his wet kisses and playfulness.
