Good for you stepping up and I hope that little guy gets into a new home - Chi's are very thin skinned and only a heartless idiot would leave one outside like that

why do people even bother to have pets if they're going to be so coldhearted and uncaring ?

this is terrible i have a chi mix who gets cold if we turn the fan on to high i cannot help it i am soo angrily i would not leave any animal outside i even make sure the neighbors cats are inside because she dose not think about it some nights

How heartbreaking...you did the right thing and I am sure the dog bothered other people also. Many times the only way you can protect an animal is by using laws against people. I always have the following website saved so I can read if people are breaking the law..

I hate to hear of any dog being kept outside, but to put a tiny baby out is just criminal. Hopefully a stern word from the manager will prevent it happening again, esspecially if they think some-one is keeping watch.
I once had to report my neighbour to our RSPCA after they left for a short easter break, but they decided it wasn't worth making arrangments for their two dogs. They left them a bowl of soggy bread and bowls of water and expected them to survive for 4 days on it. The second day I started throwing food over the fence, on the forth I made the call. They arrived back with their expensive caravan in tow while the inspector was sitting outside taking notes.

Good for you :thumbup: Would these people leave their children like that...I feel animals are the same responsibility as a child...
