We did live in a house that had a resident ghost many yrs ago
and things would bemoved you would hear voices at night

and the little dog that we had at the time
would get up and bark and growl when there was nothing there
but what made it scarey was that she would back up like something was coming toward her and then she would run away :eek:

Yeah that's the thing, I do believe in those sort of things, and I know it wasn't a ghost it was a spirit of the departed. :rolleyes:

Maybe your dog can get certified as a service dog to alert you to incoming spirits! :lovewings

There are a lot of threads on YT about just this thing so you are not ALONE :cool: I too use to feel my dad all the time after he passed away when I was just 17 yrs old :( The day that he passed away I knew he was gone before my mom returned from the hospital because he had come to say good bye to me. It has been a few years since I have felt him and have been thinking about him and missing him a lot lately and would love a little visit :p As a matter of fact there is a thread in the OT forum that I started last week about something that just happened with my husband.

As for the mouse theory, Pebbles was on a mouse hunt in my laundry room last winter. I'm positive it was a mouse since she had her nose to the tile floor "hunting". She didn't catch it but I'm sure she scared the heck out of it and it left on its own free will because we set traps and never caught anything.

HAHA That's a GREAT idea lol :D I always wanted him to be a certified dog so we can go visit the old people home's but I think this is HIS CALLING!

Well I think if he came to visit you before, he probably does come to you, you just can\'t "feel" him at that moment. I believe that our passed loved ones are around us all the time, sometimes we just feel them stronger. Esp the one\'s that were closer to us. Like I never feel my Grandparents...Just my Dad.
You know I would probably think twice that it was a mouse if Peanut wasnt following something in the air lol :D
