| ![]() Hey! thanks to some suggestions on here I have finally managed to bring Skeeters weight down. He has stopped favoring his back leg and he is starting to look quite handsome! What finally worked was a 1/2 cup of green beans first thing in the morning followed by 1.5 hours of kibble availability. Twice a day he gets 1/2 of a Science Diet Oral Care kibble bit. (They break right in half if you hit them lightly with a hammer!) At night he gets a very tiny little lick of cheese. (We ALWAYS have one dog or another needing pills and I have found that to be the best way to get them to take them. All the dogs gather round and act like you are starving or cheating them if they don't get something too.) I'm pretty sure Tyler is losing weight but he is so little and stocky its hard to tell. I do think his legs are getting longer though! ![]() |

| ![]() I'm so happy to hear that Skeeter is getting more healthy and feeling better. I can totally relate to the "everyone gets cheese" deal when giving meds to one. Great to see that the suggestions given to you are working so well. This forum is so awesome and helpful! ![]()

| ![]() That's an interesting technique with the green bean meal before the kibble! I might try adding a little portion of green beans around lunch to curb Toki's appetite. Congrats on the weight loss! |
