i only read a couple pages so i dont know much your so great for doing this i pmed you i was gonna reply here but ill do that instead :D |
Hey Elizabeth, since you know that the byb won't stop doing what she's doing unless AKC steps in and suspends her, but she'll probably do it without regisration, keep an eye on the classifieds in a few months and see if her number pops up again. If it does you probably could get someone else to check it out and then call animal control on her and report her again. Someone like this has to have somekind of restrictions, whether it's a fine or jail time, maybe that will stop her. It's bad enough of the conditions that you found the puppies in but for them to be only 5 weeks, that's a sin. AKC should have some kind of restriction on their paper to make sure the birthdate and purchase date are at least 10 weeks apart... |
The puppies checked out great at the dogtor! No worms or coccidia. He said to wait about 2 weeks for shots. Two of them weigh 1 1/2 lbs. and "Peanut" weighs a whopping 1 lb.! Of course Lexy weighed 1 lb. at 12 weeks, so I know they will be bigger than she. The dogtor and I were both impressed that they didn't have worms, so maybe she is taking a little better care of the mother dog than we thought. I still think she shouldn't breed of course! He was saddened by the fact that a "breeder" would take them from the mother at 4 weeks, but not surprised. He also said the diarreah should clear up quickly, and to just put water on their dry food and sprinkle a little of the powdered formula on top for extra calcium. I hope their sister is doing all right too. Thanks to everyone for the love, support and donations. Elizabeth |

That is great news. I'm so glad you got them out of there. Are you still going to try and keep one. I hope you get to, if that's what you want. Keep up posted. |
Thank goodness they're healthy!! That is WONDERFUL news!! For having such a traumatic beginning these babies must be real troopers. You're an ANGEL for getting them out of there. It's great that they'll now have a chance and will be able to STAY healthy until they go to their forever homes. Peanut is an ADORABLE name btw...hope you keep him :p |
Not sure if you all saw this, so I cut & pasted it. I don't know how to find the posting for this site, but I'm going to try and put a post out on Boggs. Maybe if she has a lot of warnings out there, she can be stopped. I'll try anything at this point! Glad to hear the babies are all doing OK. No call about the Mom yet, I hope they call by tomorrow. I'll let you know. Take care all! Oh yea, glad to hear Thumper is OK, I hope you finds a family soon. :) I have Thumper posted on Petfinder and on here. He has had a really good day today. I just try to watch the dogs closely when they are all out together. The only time there has been a real problem is when Romeo or Addi try to get near Tori (which they love to try to do). A scary thing just happened though. I have already received 4 replies back from Petfinder and 2 of them gave me their phone numbers. I searched their phone numbers through google and the one is a pet collector. She has a history of getting pets from petfinder or the pound and breeding or trying to sell them. Her post sounded really good (she said she worked for a vet and had experience with abused animals). I am glad I did a google search on her number. Here is what i found out: (this is copied from my google search that I did on her phone number): I received this post on several of my Yahoo groups. I do not have any further knowledge about the accuracy of these allegations, but with so much of this stuff coming to light lately, I thought I'd go ahead and post this in case anyone has any dealings with this person. Here is the post and attached photo: DO NOT ADOPT! Breeding and selling pound dogs! Tina Wise TLC Rescue Frazeysburg, Ohio (near Newark, Ohio in Central part of the state) I bought this deplorable Dobe (picture link attached) in this evening from Frazyburg and the woman there is breeding everything from Dobes, Min Pins, St. Bernards & Boxers. I brought in a Min Pin that I don't have the picture taken of yet and she got him from a pound down that way to breed her female and now has a litter of pups from that but has left this male in awful shape. She has St. Bernard pups also 6 weeks old very sick. I also brought in a female Dobe very ill and starved almost to death. Her name is Tina Wise and she is calling her place TLC Rescue but it isn't a rescue but a breeding place. She says she needs dog food because the Humane Society who helps with dog food isn't helping anymore. I have a St. Bernard I want to try and bring out of there Friday but my friend I need help seeing if there is a way to stop her from starving the animals she is getting from the shelters and just stopping her from getting anymore to breed. Any advice is welcome. Take care, carolspowell@aol.com">carolspowell@aol.com __________________ love our addi & romeo |

re: puppies 3 Attachment(s) Whew, I've been traveling 12 hours and I'm finally home. I sure do miss baby girl but mom and dad are enjoying her at home. Here are some pics of baby girl and Mommy. Then a pic of her trying on her first sweater! |
How cute!!!!!! We are so happy for all of you!!!! |
re: puppies I feel bad the mommy is still there. It was strange, she acted like no other yorkie I've seen. Usually most yorkies are active, a little hyper, or moving, something. She seemed sad, a little lathargic, and wouldn't look at me. Didn't even bark or anything. |
She is a beautiful little angel!! Again, I think what you did was so great! :) |
She is so sweet! So glad you have her! Do you miss her yet :) |
