I have a dog pee story to share with you........June 28th I spilled in dog pee and fell breaking my arm in 3 places. I had surgery to put my arm back together and now am having PT for 8 weeks or possibly longer. I was not been able to get myself dressed, put on my makeup or many other things for myself for weeks. But I still have all of my pups here and I know exactly which on caused my little accident. Take a look at him how could I ever give him away

I'm thinking that if he is ignoring the other family member and it's only you that he's peeing on, you are one pretty lucky lady. He has 'claimed' you as his. He loves you more than the others. Yeah, you have to break him, it's not a nice habit. But, it sure is nice to know he loves you best.

Now thats the positive way to look at things! He wuvs you so much!!! I hope he stops soon. I'm sure it has something to do with getting neurtered though and since he checked out fine at the vet I would give him a few days to get 'un'mad.

I have to ask. did the day that he peed on you did you hold another animal? I ask this because one day me and my hubby went to my daughters and he was holding her little male pup, well when we got home our dogs could smell the other dog on him and my male lifted his leg and peed on my hubbys leg/shoe. LOL I know a girl that slipped in dog pee once, I call it Karma LOl.

The status of the total posts is how you are classified. When you are brand new you are a yakker and it goes up from their as your post count increases. I looked to see if I could find the breakdown numbers but I just can't seem to find them. Seems like you and a few others misunderstood my statement. i don't know how in the world you could have taken what I said as 'sticking up" for this person. My goodness some people have real imaginations to read words that aren't even printed. I think the people on here that have known me all these years knew exactly what i was thinking when I wrote that one sentence. To clarify, I was saying you guys are certainly being nicer to this person than I would. if that upsets up you, then so be it. I really, really wanted to say so much more but I have been trying recently to keep a lot of my thoughts to myself as I read some of these threads. i couldn't really say what I wanted to. and no, she wouldn't get one of my pups. i do hope however that she sticks around and learns a few things . i feel so sorry for the little dog.

Where ion the world did I say anything about a rescue? I think people who work in rescue are wondderful and should be common knowledge, something this person didn't kow, that dogs from this ssort of environment do hae some issues. I have had rescues in my home and they are very hard to work with but I expected it. Again, I say where in the world did you and this other gal get from my one sentencee that I said it was okay for this person to get a rescue but not one of my or any other breeders dog? personally, I think she has a lot to learn about dog ownership aand hopefully she will if she stays here.

Im soo sory for making you angry and I hope you understand the rest of my posts like I said I was upset and said something I was not meaning. I never hurt my baby and never think of doing anything to hurt him. He will stay in my home even if he has peed on me over 5 times now. did again this morning but together we will work on it with love and lots os patiance. I'm sorry for giving the wrong idea of what kind of person I am. He is not the only baby I have and I love them all. I totally understand that you dont like me and would never give me one of you babies thats fine but I dont think that you should judge a person just because they had a realy bad day. jeanette please do stay. I never said I didn't like you. Just got very frustrated that you were ready to give the little dog back up so soon. rescues are hard to work with. I know because I have had a few in my home. Just be patient and I am sorry I hurt your feeling. I responded to the other persons post attacking me before I read her apology and my temper got the best of me. Sorry. I apoligize to all of you and I won't be posting on this thread anymore.

Hi there...

I just wanted to add, that you have to give him some time and some training. Not only is he in a new home, but he just got neutered.

When TJ was neutered, he was so good about do pee on the pads, but when I brought him home, he started to pee all over the house, on the floor, on the carpet, on his dog beds, on his toys. I was so upset. I called the Vet after a couple days of this and the Vet chuckled, he said TJ is mad at you for getting him neutered. Honestly, I didn't think that dogs could be mad at you, but I guess we will never know...

Anyway, I just went back to the positive praise, treat reward and limited freedom in the house (strict potty training) and after a while things got better

Well he is 3 years old and had already been trained but the person who I got him from never neutered him. He did good for days and he got neutered on saturday and I picked him up on Monday since then as soon as i'm in front of him he peepees mi feet or if I'm sitting he does it on my back. So I'm just going to try to train him not to pee on me.
