Do you shower with your yorkie?? I know it may seem very strange to some, when its time for jerry to have a bath, i just take a shower with him. lol he likes being with me all the time so i figured it was the best way. and he dosent mind at all. does anyone else practice the same strange ritual as me and my jer-bear?? |
Lol, no, I don't. But I have seen people on here who do. |
funny you mention it. I have a friend who does. lol I havent though. :D |
Both Misty, yorkie and Cassie, maltese take showers with me when they need their baths. Misty seems to just tolerate the shower. Cassie loves it. In fact every night shen I take a shower, Cassie comes to the shower door and scratches on the shower door and whimpers. I don't think she should be bathed more that once a week so I just ignore her. |
My dirty little secret is out (no pun intended). |
every Saturday ;) |
Yep, we are Guilty of that over here :embar::embar: When I 1st got Ralphie he was sooo attached and literally would cry (and still does ) when I leave him. So I decided that I would just put him in there with me and not have to listen to it. Now we have Agnes too and we have family shower time. They are going to need therapy for this one day I am sure :p:p. I am scarring them for life, LOL. |
We have a walk in shower and Roo goes in the bathroom with me when i take a shower and normally he ends up playing in the water while im taking a shower. Maybe i should try taking him in the shower with me for his next bath he'd probably like that a lot more than the sink. |

I do in the summer- just line em all up and I have the hand held shower head so it works great:D |
Yeah, I let Fancy take a shower with me when she needs to get clean!:p I think its easier and Fancy likes to get in there with me so it works for us. She stands at the back though and waits her turn.:p |
Sometimes I bring Lexi (dog) AND Buddha (ferret) in the shower :) Lexi doesnt like the water being directly on her, but she enjoys standing in the warm shower. And Buddha just likes being held under the water. :D Its a good way to wash them both fast! |
I give the Boys their "bath" in the shower. Closed the shower door and they are "trapped":D. Used to be a struggle with Zeke but he likes it now. Zack will stand by the door and wait for me to step out. |
I always wanted to take a bath with Ranger lol... But my bf always said, "No, that is tooo wierd." So I never did. Then one day Bf was in the bath and Ranger was crying... so what did Bf say... "Put the little scrapper in!" I was like uhhhhh... no you didn't. So apparently its alright for him to bathe with Range hahaha :p |
Yes, Yes, Yes! This is how Ginger gets all her "baths". She is a little water hog though. She loves the shower but if you block the water for too long she will bark at me until I move out of the way. It is soooooo funny! I have to watch her - even when it's not her bath day - she will try to hop in. I'm just glad she enjoys it as much as she does! :D |
i'm going to try this tomorrow then!! hopefully she'll like it! |
Haha no I have never showered with Teddy but never fails as soon as I get out he will jump in the shower to lick the bottom of it! His little paws and body get wet so I might as well have had him showering with me:rolleyes: |
i shower with Morgan every weekend and sometimes skoshi, my maine coon cat, comes in too. :D |

No, I haven't but CoCoa B. takes a shower with my kid's, and all 3 of them enjoys it,i'm still surprise! :) |
I haven't tried with yorkies yet but I bring my parrot in with me for a shower! :p |
Nope, never showered with Rockie, he runs all over the place when he knows its his bath time. When l get in the shower he just runs in and out of bathroom.:animal36 until l finish. |
I should try it. Kaji cries and whimpers if I'm not near him, so I take him in the bathroom with me. He still paces and has even managed to find a way to open the shower door and be a peeping tom!! So I might as well right? |
Yes, I sometimes bathe Zeke in the shower. It is much easier and a lot less messy than doing him in the kitchen sink. I just hand him out to my husband when he is done. |
I've never taken my dog in the shower. I think I'd be afraid of getting too much water in his ears or stepping on him with soap in my eyes or something. I bathe him in the tub (which he hates, by the way) in between professional groomings and dry him and brush him in a bath mat next to the tub. |
Even though Lil' Miss Izzie has her own bathroom with the spa treatment (hydrobath) she still enjoys showering with me on the weekends and it saves my back from having to bend over the tub ....she loves being in the shower with me....:animal36:animal36:animal36 |
Harley and I are quilty...once a week we shower :D |
we just tried it!! she did much better than she does in the sink!! i think she's going to have Friday night or Saturday showers with mommy from now on!! LOOK WHAT YOU'VE STARTED!!! :) |
No I've never let Bailey in the shower with me, but she'll often stand by the glass and just look at me and paw at the glass. Maybe we should try it. But don't you worry about them getting soap/shampoo in their eyes and water in their ears? Do you put cotton in their ears before? |
me and my bf take turns, one of us is showering them and the other one is waiting with the towel:D |
