Do you shower with your yorkie??

When we were at our other house, we had a shower with a glass door, and it worked great. Now that we have just the dinky tub/shower, I gotta bend over the side and break my back. :

No, They lay on the rug outside my shower , but if I open the door and they hear the water, they both run and bark at me. They love to watch me take a shower LOl !!!!

I'm not a shower person, but it sounds like a good idea! I love baths and Bailey always sits by the tub and cries when I'm in there..can't have a moments peace!

i've never done it with Denzel. i dont think i want to try just the sound of it makes me feel icky. i like taking separate baths. for those who let the babies in you guys don't feel weird? the only way Denzel is getting in with me if i have my bathing suit on and i make him a mini pool out of the tub. ha ha

I cannot take a bath or shower with my dogs either. A bathing suit would make me feel more comfortable if I have to take a bath with them. Well, everybody has a right to wash their dog the way they feel most comfortable. When I first read this post, I could not stop thinking about the Petco commercials where a lady was taking a bath with her dog. In the Petco commercial, those types of owners were the ones that lavishly spoil their dogs and shop at Petco. I spoil my dogs too, but I have a limit. Some Petco commercials are so silly.

its a dog. why would i feel weird about her watching me in the shower? not like she's gonna say anything or tell anyone.

plus its quicker. i don't have to break my back bending over the tub, or clean the kitchen sink first before putting her in there, then rinse it afterward. less mess on the floor/counter too. when we're done i just leave her in the shower with a towel and she dries herself off while i do the same. her shampoo is already in there so i don't have to cart it around the house.

Not a shower but she does take a bath with me. It's not something she enjoys but she hates being left out more. My husband thinks I have lost my mind but now I can say see I'm not the only one

W actually have bathing days here, which could last for a couple of hours, lining thm all up and bathing them one after another. specially the times that the cats also gt in the line.

My boyfriend goes in the shower, and I hand him one after another. He washes one, gives it back to me, and I towel dry and blow dry while he's busy with the next one. We have our little production line going

If he is not around to help me, I usually just bathe them in the sink (I have a HUGE sink in the bathroom)

But don't you worry about them getting soap/shampoo in their eyes and water in their ears? Do you put cotton in their ears before?

I worry about water in their ears and soap in their eyes as well. Any comments from those that shower with their furbabies?

I used to when Sam was itty bitty but now he just bathes in the sink with the sprayer.

i always shower with Jerry - and ive never had any problems with the soap in the eyes, or water in the ears(the ears flop over when theyre wet so its not so easy to get in i guess???). i just make sure i dont put soap in his eyes and clean his ears after with some q-tips I LOVE IT!! and for whoever said its gross all i have to say is: its not gross at all. YOUR IN THE SHOWER!! with soap and shampoo and all kinds of cleaning stuff.. how could it be gross? if any dirt gets on you, just rinse it off! its not like im taking the dog and rubbing it on my coochie, or licking his wet fur with my mouth!! LOL!
