Totally!!!!!! When do you get to meet him? I know it helped me to chat around on here to take my mind off all the anticipation too :D So excited that Teddy's going to such a loving and happy home!! It's amazing when this little ones, who have been toss aside like trash are blessed with such wonderful and loving people. You and Kit are amazing!!! Oh my gosh!!! He is absolutely adorable. What kind of monster could look into those eyes, and ask that he be euthanized? The breeder needs to be euthanized.

Teddy is home!
 

My little baby Teddy made it home safe and sound yesterday :hearts-xx:hearts-xx !!!

We just love him so much it is unbelievable! He is such a little sweetie and all he wants is to be held real tight and kissed on :kiss3::kiss3:. Ralphie and Agnes are thrilled to have a new brother too!

Teddy is just precious and I can't believe that we were lucky enough to find each other. After all he has been through in his life, he still just wants to be held and snuggled, ahhh it kills me. It really is amazing and it makes me want to hunt down whoever treated him so badly and hurt them :mad::mad::thumbdown.

I seriously can't put into words what a precious little angel he is and how much I already LOVE him. He has the biggest brown eyes and when I am holding him he leans his head back and just stares at me. It literally melts my heart. I am still kind of in a dream over it I think! If I am not holding him he walks around in little circles because he is so used to living in a cage :(. The second I pick him up he just crumples into me like a little baby and relaxes. So far he is only really at peace when he is being held. So he definitely came to the right house :p!! I know that with a little bit of time, tons of "lovins" and interaction with Ralphie and Agnes, this little boy will start to know how to act like a dog and learn how to relax and enjoy life :luvu:.

So I just want to say thank you again to everyone who has been so sweet and sent love Teddy's way. He is looking forward to spending the rest of his days as a spoiled Yorkie Talk baby!

I have attached some pics that Kit took the 1st time I held him and one that I took of him in my arms when we got home...

P.S. He ran straight to the wee wee pad and peed when he got home. Such a good boy. And he slept through the night. I am so proud of him.

I have tears in my eyes reading your story. I am so happy for you and Teddy. That little guy deserves just the home you will be giving him. He looks so happy in your arms, where he is meant to be. Best of luck.

Update on little Teddy
 

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to post a quick update on Teddy and share some pics. This little guy amazes me more everyday. He has come so far in the short time that he has been with us. I already can not imagine life without him!

When he 1st came here he was constantly walking in little circles (from living his life in a cage :mad:). I thought I would never get him to be still and relax. And every time I would lean down to pet him he would hunch down like I was about to hit him...broke my heart :(! Despite all that he has been through though he is still so incredibly loving and affectionate. It was so sad to see him wanting to be loved on but still a little afraid to receive it. From day one he would just lay on my chest and let me pet him and kiss his little face. The first time I saw him wag his tail was such a big deal for me :cheer:. Then later on he started running up to me to give me kisses on my hand...I couldn't believe it :D!! Now he follows me everywhere I go and he won't let me out of his sight for a second. He comes running over to me when I call his name and covers me in kisses. MELTS MY HEART!! He loves loves loves lying on the bed with us, I don't think he had ever been on anything so soft. And he is getting along great with Ralphie and Agnes. I find them all laying next to each other all the time and Teddy is always in the middle...I love it!

Even though he has come further in a week than I thought he would come in a year, he still has some issues that we will continue to work on. The major issue is that he is absolutely terrified of men. He was definitely abused in his past and seeing how afraid he gets of Nick is heartbreaking. He will let Nick hold him and he is fine when Nick is laying in the bed or sitting on the couch, but the second he gets up or the first time he walks into a room Teddy goes berserk. He growls and barks and is just literally terrified. Even if Nick has been holding him for hours and Teddy is relaxed and loving it, the second he puts him down he looks at him and just snaps. Nick brings treats every time he walks into the room and he is always petting him and showing him love but Teddy has had 7 years of abuse and those memories are not going to just vanish in a couple of weeks. He is getting better though and I think that with a lot of love and even more time, he will learn that he is finally safe and no one will ever hurt him again.

So we are the lucky ones in this situation. To us he is this precious little treasure that we were given :giftbox::giftbox::2hearts2:. How someone could mistreat this baby and then throw him away is mind boggling :thumbdown. I just can't express how much I love the little guy :wub::wub: !

Here are some pics of my little lovebug...

1). Teddy being happy while we all watched a movie on the couch. His little legs are way up in the air, LOL!
2). All 3 of my babies sleeping on the couch with us...Teddy in the middle of course.
3). Teddy modeling Ralphie's old Juicy Couture hoodie. It is the only piece of clothing that he likes...the boy already has good taste!
4). Teddy looking all fresh and clean after his bath.

Here are some pics I took last night. Agnes and Teddy were sleeping single file on Nick's legs. I walked in and about died it was so cute!

Thanks, we are so happy to have him with us. I was so shocked to see them all snuggled in like that on those leg pics, LOL!

She has done alot of work with horses and dogs.Uses TTouch to influenc behavior and health.One of the book is "Getting in TTouch with Your Dog" We use her techniques to help dogs at the shelter.

Hmmm, sounds like a book we could use. I will google her (I google everything ;)). Thanks for the suggestion, we can definitely use all the help we can get.
