:D Coach hasn't barked yet so I don't know how he sounds. He is just an angel he followes me and my husband all over the house. We took him to pick some toys last night but it looks like he never had any because he did not care for them. How can I get him to play with toys he is a baby and should have fun or do you think he is in pain? :( I will take him to the vet and make sure he is doing well.

Bogie didn't play with toys for a few days, but we found he loves to play ball(the small tennis balls for little dogs) he will chase them all over the house. If you aren't paying attention to him he will bring his ball and drop it at our feet, and if it rolls under something he will lay down and look under whatever it is under and cry(he sounds just like a baby crying) it is just too cute...we also got him a little pull rope with a stuffed animal head and feet.. he loves to play tug of war with that. I would give him time he will learn to play if you keep offering him different stuff. Coach is such a cutie!! my mom has a 4 year old biewer who looks a lot like him( she is mostly grey also). How could anyone be bad to any dog especially a cutie pie like that.

Congratulations on your new addition :) Where are the pics??!! I've never seen a Biewer in 'real-life' so I need all the cute pics I can get!:D xxx

This is SPOT ON! I just purchased a 6 month old Biewer. I was worried that being 6 mths old he'd have a harder time adjusting. Boy, was I wrong! He fit right in like he's always been there since he was whelped. It's truly amazing. He is very gentle, not nearly busy like my Yorkie, Sophie. Although only 6 mths old he seems more mature than my Yorkie, and she's nearly a year old. Deb is right..it's hard to really put your finger on it, but yet there is such a big difference. The breed is truly amazing and a joy to own.

I would suggest taking him to the Vet and getting him neutered and then loving him as a family pet. You sound like a wonderful family and it sounds like you guys love him and he loves you. I am not sure which breeder is offering you a puppy for him, but that just sounds awful. You rescued him, he deserves to live a happy pet life, not to be used as a breeding machine :(

Neuter him. Saying this gently...while Coach will make a delightful pet not all dogs are breeding worthy.
Enjoy him and I'm glad he's found his forever home.

Yes, this is his forever home and like I sad he will be in the vets office tomorrow just to make sure he is fine and I will talk about getting him neutered. He is very happy here and at 24 hrs of having him we would never let him go he is just the best and gets along great with my other dogs.

I couldn't agree more..I know he is your dog and you have to do what's right for you but it does sound like you all have bonded with Coach already and he with you. It would set him back I think to trade him in for a puppy. Lord knows what this breeder would do with him. Get him neutured and do some training with him and I bet he will make you the best family member ever!!:D

Yorkies their temperment would not be so very different.

maybe a Biewer female for a sister instead of a Yorkie sister.

That's what I meant yesterday when I said...these guys are so easy going and loving...they fit in immediately.

Give him a big squeeze and welcome to the wonderful world of biewers. :)
