Does he not look like a yorkie?? 2 Attachment(s) I am so sick up people telling me that Bentley does not look like a yorkie!!!! I have only had him a little over a week, but he goes EVERYWHERE with me. People go on and on about how cute he is, but I have had multiple people tell me he dosen't look like a yorkie. (I have also had multiple people ask me if he is toy or miniature. Aghh!!!:mad:) I love him to absolute pieces, but how do you deal with people always saying stuff like that????? |

Aww, well whoever told you that is just silly! He's an adorable little baby YORKIE! His face is too cute! I hate when people say something about toy/miniature too, someone at the dog park told me that Stella is "big for a yorkie"...she's all of 5 lbs, but she has those pretty giraffe legs :) The lady at the organic pet food store even asked me if she was a toy or a standard. People are so strange...does a pound or two really make a difference?! |
He's too cute to be anything but a Yorkie. He's young, & his looks will change over the next couple of months. He definitely looks like a Yorkie now. |
He is a yorkie to the T, if you ask me! People are ignorant! You just have to ignore them in some cases...Peanut get's called a "rat" all the time and that drives me INSANE!!!! People always have comments. You will get use to it lol. I hate when people say " my cats bigger than him" " thats snake food" things like that really bother me. Then you have the people that will bombard you and try to pick up your babies with out even asking you...or when you are walking they assume you are going to stop so they can pet them?? CRAZY!! You know he is beeeautful and he looks like a yorkie!! Anyone on here will tell you that!! Try not to let it get to you :aimeeyork |

He looks like an adorable Yorkie. Not sure why someone would say he doesn't look like a Yorkie???? I saw an American Bulldog at Petco and asked if it was an American Bulldog...just to make sure. He was cute too! I just like to ask because I don't know every breed all that well so I ask just to be sure and sometimes I'm surprised. I bet the people asking have seen very few Yorkie puppies that's all. Not everyone is familiar with every breed. Don't be offended, your pup is one of the cutest I've seen!!!! |

He is soo cute and def a yorkie. I like all of the black on his face that is sooo pretty. I hate the stupid questions also! "Is she a teacup or a tiny?" Im like SHES A FREAKIN YORKIE THATS WHAT SHE IS!!!!! lol people are so annoying. Just ignore them I guess! |

There's nothing more precious then a sweet little yorkie baby :) All I can think of is because he is so young, people are not use to seeing those colors as much , as in the older yorkie. Just tell them all yorkie's are born this color and then change into their coats as they become older. I like to remind you though, your little baby really needs to be staying in your home at all times, until he is fully vaccinated. People can carry the Parvo virus on their clothes, shoes, hands . Without even knowing it. After 6 weeks of age a puppy loses imunity from it's mother , therfore needs to be protected as much as possible , not just from other dogs, but from being outside , in public places, and from people who could easily been in contact with these killer viruses. |
