Thanks everybody for your responses. I just get so annoyed and I guess I let stuff bother me too easily. People always ask me if Roscoe is mixed because he is 10 pounds. I just didn't think about people already doing that with Bentley too! My DH tells people he is a miniature Rottweiller! LOL He is so silly. Isn't it funny how we get so offended over our furbabies? It's like someone saying my skinkids look like aliens! LOL |
Maybe these people do not realize that he is a puppy, he is very much a yorkie & cute to go with it.:) do not let this kind of people get to you |
He looks like yorkie !! Don`t listen people he is so cute :D and a lot of people thinks of mine Lucky that he is a mini lol I just don`t care :p |
:eek:OMG!! Why would anyone say that??? He looks EXACTLY like a Yorkie!:aimeeyork...no mistaking that at all. He is very furry, which is a plus in my book! I think that ppl who are not familiar with the look of a Yorkie puppy think of a full grown Yorkie,...which looks very different..(hair to the floor...colors different...etc.) You have an especiallly gorgeous Yorkie puppy...tell those ppl to go home and do some research before making their comments ;) |
He's a doll baby! He is totally a yorkie! People are so ignorant sometimes . . .my own sister who bred yorkies told me when I first got Brody that he was "too dark" and she never saw a yorkie like that . . .and I get asked all the time if they are "teacups" or someone will say . ..."are they going to get any bigger?" I love em just the way they are! :D |
Bentley is AAA-DORABLE ! I don't know why anyone would say things like that to someone - it accomplishes nothing and besides ....they don't know what they're talking about. There is no mistaking that he's a yorkie ....none. Chalk it off to ignorance on their part and never let it bother you ok ? He's just adorable and I have some pretty cute pictures right on my computer of him to prove it :D ps....it reminds me of someone who was told once they were fat by another person - their response was.... I may be fat but I can lose weight. UGLY IS FOREVER I thought that was about the best comeback line I ever heard. We need to find you a good one :D |
I think most people have no clue what a Yorkie puppy LOOKS like! He's perfect! |
So cute and total Yorkie!! Sophie hasn't been out to see people except at the vet and they knew before I even said anything that she is a Yorkie. She's definitely starting to get the Yorkie look now that she's older--almost 4 months old. But she's going to be a good size, I think. She's already 4 lbs by my scale at home. So I'm figuring she'll either be the breed standard weight of up to 7 lbs (according to AKC) or possibly even become a teapot Yorkie! LOL :p But she's not overweight according to my vet and growing normally, too. I'm glad she's probably going to be a bigger girl since we have 12-16 lb cats in our house! But Bentley is so cute and all Yorkie to me!! |
He sure looks like a yorkie to me and an adorable one at that! I love his coloring! When my litter was born, we all agreed that the babies looked just like Rottweilers! Maybe they think he's a Rottie?:p |
he looks like a yorkie to me. your little boy is adorable!! =] |
Well me and Zoie are sitting here reading this thread thinking how stupid people can be??? Well they are not educated like us and up to date about the breed!!! they change from birth to 1 yr old!!! Thats ok u have us on YT that knows what we r talking about!!!And ur baby is beautiful and a full bred yorkie!!!! Let it roll off ur back babe!!!! just know they know not what they do!!!!!! |
anyone else who says so tell them they need glasses! yorkies come in all shapes and sizes just like people and they grow and change just like people also |
