Anyone not like Bully sticks? Got some for Toby, but he just had a look and a sniff and walked off  |
What kind did you buy, and where did you get them from? |
I got the Westbrook ones from AMD (Alyssa). Millie would've loved them! |
Buddy loves them however they don't agree with him:( He throws up and get's diareaha from chewing them. I gave up. A vendor here on YT, AMD, I believe has the best ones. There is very little smell to them and her order's are delivered fast. |

Thor doesn't like to chew stuff that much. He'll lick a bully stick a few times, and maybe carry a small one around (like, 2" long), but that's it. |
Joey loves them, but we only have used the Merrick Brand, my son's dog came for a visit and turned his nose up at one, and I put it in a glass that had about an inch of water, and let the stick get soft on the end. The smell was more apparent, and he really went for it after that. Dogs often like the smellier ones better, but some of the smellier ones, are made without the same safety standards used by the Merrick Company. Also, some have too much moisture, and are more like a treat than a chewing stick, and the dog can ingest too much at one setting, and this could cause tummy upsets. Moist sticks can harbor bacteria that could cause illness. I also would look for a brand that wasn't imported, don't be misled by the words "free range", unless it's a US company. Cattle in most countries are "free range" and they are often starving looking for food. (I'm not kidding about this). Do not use anything that has an expiration date, if they are dried properly they don' t need an expiration date or artificial preservatives. The drying process is very important in killing off bateria, but some companies skimp on this step. The hard bully sticks are a great way to help keep you dog's teeth clean, and a great substitute for bones. The hard ones are more expensive, but one stick lasts Joey a whole week, and he really does love to chew. |
they make Tia sick:( |

Piper loves her Bully Sticks and they never make her sick. I also buy them from AMD. |
Zeus has to be in the mood for it. He sometimes snubs his nose at it so I set it down. Sometime after I see he has it and he chews on it for about an hour. Everything is on his terms! Stubborn Yorkie:animal36 |

My girls love bully sticks. But, Piccolo waits for Vivi to chew one for awhile to get it all ready for her. Lol. |
I Googled them and when I saw what they are made from , I just could not give them to my dogs. lolol |
Wow  I've never met a dog that didn't love bullysticks! |
Eva loves them. I just can't get past the fact that my little sweetie has a giant cow wee wee in her mouth! Once we googled them and found out what they were, well then I understood what "that smell" was. I've tried giving them to her since but it just turns my stomach:(. I feel bad because she did like them. Now I give her these cow hide chews, made by Purina i think and called Chew-eez. The Vet recommended them and she likes them too. Her chewing on the side of the cow I can handle:). Mary:animal-pa |
I just bought a couple from Westbrook to see if Romeo would like them and at first he sniffed it and walked away. I left it there and after a few times coming back to it he started to chew it and then he loved it. I had to take it away from him because after an hour he was already half through it! I wanted to make sure he wasn't going to get sick from it. But he had no problem at all. :D I am definitely putting in another order. But I need to ask if they can be stored so I can order more than just 2. |

Lilly was actually SCARED of her first one. Ran around barking at it and jumping at it and was so scared she wouldn't even come near it. I finally got her to smell it and taste it and well... they lived happily ever after. THE END! :p |

I would give my dog a "bully stick" even if it was made from a dude from Mars. I love how happy it makes my buddy. I'm sure he would be repulsed to know I love sushi. |
Too funny. |
