Call me crazy, but That's such wonderful news. I would love to have another one, but my husband doesn't want me to. We travel quite a bit. However, I would have done the same thing if I had seen Izzy. DH would just have had to deal with it. I can't believe fleas and hypoglycemia on that poor baby. The breeder is the one who is crazy. She should't have dogs, much less breed them. You did a wonderful thing. You saved the baby. You'll enjoy her so much. Tucker's Mom |
just did the same thing myself, couldn't let her go to someone else and had to bring her home where i could love her and take care of her better than someone else could... congrats on the new baby and good luck in the next few weeks with the puppy stages... just make sure she eats and drinks plenty and is playful and alert, but you already know that so why would i need to tell you anything!? HAVE FUN! |
This little one is so very lucky you came along and saved her from who know's what! Can't wait to see her pictures. Izzy sounds like a little doll baby. I am sure in a day or two she will get more confortable in her surroundings and not whine so much when your out of sight. Good luck, |
Here's Izzy 3 Attachment(s) These are not the greatest pictures in the world, but you get the general idea. She hated her bath and the nail clipping, but it had to be done. Thanks again everyone for your wonderful support. |
She is adorable!! |
she is simply adorable! Love her dark little face |
She is soooooo cute!!!! I love the dark coloring. What a lucky girl she is for getting to go home with you!!! |
I like the dark colors too. I think she looks like Captain Jack, the one on my profile. |
She's such a doll!!!! I couldn't have walked away from her either, no way no how. Congratulations on such a beauty!!!! You're my hero for saving her!!!! |
She is such a beauty! Congrats on your newest girl and best wishes for the training and puppy stages! LOL |
She is the cutest little thing ever! I love her sweet little face. I would have brought that baby home too. I'm glad she had a great checkup at the vet (minus the fleas) and is settling into her home nicely. I think the fact that you HAVE to go to work, will help her to get over her seperation anxiety. BTW, you are a wonderful person for adopting this little one. You may have very well saved her life by rushing to get that karo syrup for her first thing when you got her. If her gums were white, then she wasn't doing very well. Good for you  |
Well done. What a cutie.:littleang |
Update She did really well last night, but she hated me trimming her ears and nails. She went to bed and didn't give me a fit at all. She's doing really well, but like I said earlier, hates being away from me. I can't wait for this stage to be over. I had forgotten how loud the crys can get. I am trying to let her cry a little, then comfort her, let her cry a little longer, then comfort her, and so on. I hope that she gets used to this soon. She plays with my other Yorkies and has a blast. She will go to her little bed that I made for her, and sleeps when she needs to. She's teething, so I am going to go today and get some good old bully sticks. I know that will help. If anyone else has any suggestions, I'm all ears. |
She is gorgeous! I love her color and she is such a sweetie. Lucky Izzy. Vivian and Samantha |
