Yeah, see lots of my "customers" are scared of Uni b/c they say they are allergic, but come on! Yorkies don't have dander=no allergic reaction! I even had one of my good customers test it out... on her own daughter! She said her dtr was very allergic to dogs, but I told her about yorkies, and she had her dtr come in and hold the dog, hee hee. She really trusts me. Anyway, the dtr was fine!

Not all dogs are cute cuddly little furbabies. Not all dogs are nice, behaved, and trained. Not all dog owners are responsible, caring, and diligent. I've been chased, harassed, and bitten by several dogs in my life. There are lots of antidog peeps in the world for those reasons and more. You cannot just expect folks to like your dog just because you do. That is ridiculous, absurd and plain selfish. Get over yourselves! I happend to own a snake and a chameleon. I don't expect anyone to like them anymore than I expect them to like my yorkie. What ever happened to, "to each his own"? Rats make excellent pets. I used to have one. MOST PEOPLE JUST HATE RATS! I don't get all freaky deaky when people react to me when I walk my snake. :eek: What irks me is when folks take their precious dogs everywhere; to the movies, to the restaurant, and to any other inappropriate place for a dog. Grrrrrrr! You visit a busy buffet for dinner, only to see some dog fanatic with a three pound dog smuggled in a bag at the table next to you. The owners are petting and feeding the critter from their plate while going back through the salad bar for seconds without washing up! That will make anyone an anti dog person in a hurry! Come to think about it, it is probably not so much the dog people do not like, but the owners!

This is the saddest part and probably the truest for why "anti-dog" people are the way they are.

As for me...I only have one person who always shrieks when one of my girls wants to lick her BUT, I will say this much for her...she always comes back for more of my girls. So, I think it's fear based and some people just don't dig the :animal36 licks...lol! :D

Wow, I have just the opposite problem. I can’t go anywhere with my little girl if I ever need to get somewhere on time. I have missed the bank on numerous occasions. Everyone stops me along the way to say hi to Miss Lula. I should be getting a new doggie bag today where she will be more concealed.
I am starting to get annoyed with sticky fingered children. I take Lula to the park to run around and play and I get rushed with these little brats who all seem to be manhandle my little baby. *sigh*

Why are you so rude in your comments to members? :rolleyes: Do you realize how rude they sound? To me you sound as though you hate the typical yorkie owner on this site, so why come here?

Why would you care, if the dog is in a bag? Are the owners touching your food? What makes you think all the other patrons have clean hands?

Not sure if your meaning to, but you do come across aggressive. Do you like dogs at all?

I live near the Missouri side of KC, there are just some really strange people in these areas, i don't know why they wouldn't like a small yorkie, but they are just rude and strange, something in the water over there across the river lol j/k j/k

i think no matter where you go in life, there will always be some rude person who has nothing better to do in life than to make you feel like crap for doing the things you do.

don't let em' gettcha down and hop on over that river and come see us KC MO people who can show you a good time in our many dog friendly shopping areas!! :)
