love yorkie kisses !:p |
Before I adopted Tinky I totally agreed with you. Now that I do own her, I let Tinky kiss me most of the time:rolleyes: not always on the mouth though. |
If you had asked me a year ago, I would have agreed with you...But now, if I don't get face kisses, I feel rejected lol! Lucas is a huge smoocher! He will stop at nothing to love on my face. |
I have a cat. Zena will stick her nose up the cat's butt at every opportunity. I also have stray cats that leave poop in my yard overnight. Zena finds it and eats it readily the next morning. I try to watch her but she is sneaky. So, no puppy kisses on the mouth in my house. Yetch! Would you lick your private parts, then kiss your kids? Would you lick your partner's poop shute, then kiss your baby? Ewwwwe! I visited a strikingly beautiful young woman at her home one evening. She had dog named Whiskey, a border collie mix. We had a nice dinner and conversation and the evening was going well. Whiskey was in his bed doing some "housecleaning" for the better part of the evening. We had cocktails after dinner and to my shock, amazement, and disgust; my hostess called Whiskey over to her lap and shared her drink with him; let him drink right outta her glass. Lap lap lap slurp slosh slosh slurp. OMG! Suddenly it got very late and I had to leave. Never saw that lass again. I understand why dogs like to lick their owners on the mouth. It is feeding instict to get the parent dog to regurgitate their "kill" for a meal. But since it is not applicable in my household; no kisses or licking on the mouth. Nope! None ya! Nada! No way! |
Jewels licks me everywhere and sometimes I think its a little gross but theres not much I can do about it. She licks to show affection. I know this because all I have to do is talk sweet to her and she starts licking me somewhere |

What about getting something from them. Are you guys worried about that |

So what if a dog licks your hand and you touch your mouth? Or what if they licked their fur and you kissed them there? Dogs are always getting into yucky things. That would mean after touching them, you have to wash your hands? I'm certainly not going to wash my hands every time Ellie kisses me. That is one of the joys of having a dog... Then again, I don't see much about her as being gross. Maybe only her anal glands. |

Nooooo as much as I love my izzy I dont let her lick me in the mouth. To me thats gross cause I know what else she licks. LOL. And she doesnt brush and gargle afterwards. But once she got me in the mouth....it was right after her surgery and I didnt mind cause I was so happy she was ok. I was so worried about her. But...that was once. Otherwize...no mouth licking. :D |
kisses on the mouth Tucker is a real kisser. He does it on command. Sometimes when I have to scold him, I'm afraid he's mad. I say "kiss, kiss" He'll stop what he's doing , and give me kisses. I keep my lips closed, but there have been times when I'm holding him, and talking to someone, and he has sliped his tongue in. I don't like that. I don't care for the ones he slips up my nose either. Other than that, I love his kisses. Tucker's Mom |
