Time for something positive...
 

With all the negative stuff going on I thought I would take it upon myself to make a HAPPY thread!! I would like to know something that your furbutt does or something about them that you absolutely adore. Example: I love how Marley wakes me up in the morning with kisses and a wagging tail :) And I love how Colt still has puppy breath when he licks my nose :) I can't wait to see some of the responses!

This sounds like fun !!
 

I love that they like music, and want me to carry them so we can all slow dance together.

I love how Uni does her cutey pose all the time when she wants something but knows she can't have, ie I am eating fast food or something that she can't have, she will rest her chin on me and give me the puppy dog eyes. Note that she is standing up when she does this. LOL

l love when Rockie runs around the house like a energized bunny trying to get away from my daughter or myself because he knows he's in trouble.:D When he stops running he uses those adorable puppy eyes as a way to get out of trouble. It works too!:D

Haha.. my Tobie does that too! If I catch him with someone in his mouth that he's not supposed to have, I will say "drop it" and he drops it and runs off. lol. It's hilarious :p

I love it when Tobie nibbles on my ear lobe... it tickles. lol :)

I love how Rocky will climb on my chest, nuzzle into my neck and then twist his head around to look up at me, like "Aren't I just the cutest thing?" It always works and I tell him how adorable he is and how much I love him. I would never have believed I would type something like this years ago, before my Yorkie days! :D

I also really love the way he follows me everywhere. Sometimes I may complain a little as he gets in the way or I never have a minute to myself, but I have to admit I really do like it! If he ever is not right by my side, I freak a little and immediately start hollering, "Where's Rocky?" Of course he then pops his little head out of a nearby hidey-hole. Never far from me!

I love how he is curled up on my feet as I am at the computer. Such a warm, soft feeling on my bare feet. I am never alone.

I love how when he gets a little bored he will go get a toy and come rub it on my hand if I pretend not to notice. When he wants to play, he will not be ignored!

Speaking of ignore...I love how when I am half asleep or pretending to be, he will come up and tap on my cheek with his paw. It is such a human-like gesture!

I love how he does this little dance on his hind feet, boxing a little with his front paws (hence his name).

I love how he will pass a little Yorkie gas, act all startled, get up, shake himself, walk away.... then look back over his shoulder all indignant like it was me that did it! He does this everytime he gets too many Chicken Jerky Tenders.

I love how he will sit so eagerly, waiting for me to share the last few Cheerios from my breakfast bowl. He knows he is going to get them and he gets more and more excited (tail just a swingin') as he can tell I am nearing the end of the bowl.

I love how he is always so happy! He genuinely loves life and that just makes you enjoy your own a little more for watching him!

Aw, Rocky sounds so cute. :woof: Some of his mannerisms remind me of Joshie.

I just noticed that I put someONE instead of someTHING. LoL. No, Tobie doesn't run around with people in his mouth. Although, he might do that if he could, it wouldn't surprise me. Hehe :p Ohhh, I need to go to bed :)

I love how Spike thinks he's a billy goat, Really!! He will climb over anythink or anyone to get where he needs to go, my husband lays on the couch on his stomach with his chest on the arm rest and spike will walk all the way up his back and stand on his sholders and just watch what's going on.

I love how he harasses my husband all the time but not me. He always want's to be pet by my husband and CONSTANTLY licks him, billy get's so mad that i don't get tortured haha. I get my time when the DH isn't around lol.

I love how when Shilo gets excited she doesn't just wag her tail, she wags her whole body, and how when i'm sleeping no matter what time it is she's curled up super duper close to me.

I pretty much just love my fur butts! lol

Oh, that really hit me as funny! Funnier yet, is that none of us noticed as we read it. Must have thought it perfectly normal for Tobie to be toting around people in his mouth. :D

Haha, that's too funny. I got a really funny picture in my head of me chasing him, "drop daddy Tobie!". LoL. Oh, I have the giggles now. LoL

I love how Samantha wakes me up. First a quiet woof, which then gets louder with brief pauses until I answer her.

I love that she is SUCH a dog!

I love that she's a silent drama queen when she likes the smell of what I'm eating. An orphan child in the snow with no shoes or coat is just not in it! It never works, though, at least not with me. My housekeeper on the other hand ...

I love that she is such a great comforter to those she loves when there is trouble or illness.

I love that she just stops by now and then to touch me with her nose when I am busy.

I love how much she makes me laugh and how amazed and amused by her I still am after 6 years.

I love the way we have trained each other. The standard stuff is me to her. Other things, like her ritual when I leave, she taught me.

I love that she is convinced she is a huge dog, with the personality and voice to prove it!

I love that she is confident and independent, loves her human friends and to go with the pet taxi to day care, but always we belong to each other.

I love everything about Tila! Lol. Tila is such a mother hen, she likes to put everyone in their place, my mom's dog, her brother Odie, the cats. If they do something she tells them off.
I get a kick out of the fact that she gets so excited to see me sometimes and she gives me kisses, but somehow always ends up sticking her tongue up my nose. lol.
Maybe she is a little weirdo, but she likes to lay between my legs, and when I sit on the floor while I'm on the laptop, she will stick her head between my legs until I make room for her. It's too funny, she just likes to curl up all snug. I just don't know about her sometimes. lol.

I love the way Bailey has trained us too. For instance, she is a very active dog - she's always in the middle of everything we do (love it). However, at bedtime - when we say "ready for bed?" she will absolutely freeze, not even lift her head, then hubby will pick up her lifeless body and carry her to bed. Its sooo adorable!!! The little faker!!

And...I love this website (except for the drama).

I love it when louis wakes me up by nibbling my toes LMAOO. He'll try to climb my bed but he can't :D. He also gets excited when I put his bag at the door, he knowssssss its time to go outttt! Another thing I loveee is louis in my boyfriends car. He loves the top down so he sticks his tongue out and wants to see where he goesss, if my bf puts the top back up he'll bark (which is surprising since he never does.) LOL. Last but not least, when I get home from work and louis stands at the door and jumps up and down :D.

I love how Malleri will stand and look at me telling me she is ready for bed and when I do not acknowledge her she will kick her little back legs like she is having a temper tantrum...but once I say okay let's go to bed she proceeds to bring her rope to bed with her and will not sleep until we have had atleast 10 minutes of tug-o-war!

I love the feeling of curling up on the couch with a good movie on and her warmth somewhere on my body.

I love that she thinks she must stick her head in the shower every morning to make sure I have not escaped through some secret hatch...or to know that she's safe if she decides to hop into the laundry basket and drag out my underwear.

I love the fact that she will lay at the door leading into the kitchen and watch me cook for hours if she gets just one little snippet of whatever I'm making.

I don't love the fact that she thinks she has to be on my lap when I am going to the bathroom but it still makes my heart melt.

I love that no matter what kind of day I have had she is able to tell and adjusts her attitude and mannerisms to what I may need at that very moment.

I love all of these!!!! They make my heart melt! I love how unconditional Marley's love for me is.

I love how when I tell her lets go to bed she will pick up a stuffed animal toy and hop up into bed with me and dig at the covers with toy in mouth until she is comfy. Then she hands me the stuff animal as if she is saying " here, this is for you to help you sleep"

I love how Colt is already trained to use the potty pads and when I tell him good potty and give him a treat for pooping on the pad he will go back again and squeeze out the tiniest nugget of a turd to get another treat LoL

I love how Marley will get jealous if I am holding Colt so she will hop up on the couch where I am at and climb on top of Colt in my arms and just sit on him until I tell her no LoL such a bossy butt

I also love how they are my shadows. And how Marley wants to be held even while I am on the toilet! I am guilty of picking her up sometimes :embarasse

I am soooo happy all of you have shared your favorite things abour your furbutts! I love hearing all the cute mannerisms!

AHHH!! These two things are what I love about Oliver & Charlie too! Charlie will bring me toys and drop them at my feet. If I don't pick them up and play, he will drop them right in my lap! When I look at him, he does the head tilt. I CANNOT resist! He is so darn cute! I LOVE that!!

When I take a nap with Oliver, he has to be right by my face. He stares right into my eyes and if I close my eyes, he does the tap on the cheek. I LOVE that!! (but I have to wait until he falls asleep first to get my nap in :p )

I love when I come home after a long, tiring, stressful day at work and Max, Oliver & Charlie hop all around at my feet and want to be picked up and hugged all at once. The day is PERFECT again in an instant. I LOVE that!!!

I love when I am on my laptop...Harley comes and lays his head on the keyboard part and he will cut his eyes up at me as if to say "Hey, have you forgot about me?" It's just precious how they think every moment should be spent with them.

I love how Sebastian in the morning climbs on my chest and licks my face gently and rolls over and cuddles. :p

I love how Lulu has learned to give high 5's. (she is only 5 months :=)

I love how I wake up every morning with Jackson cuddled as close as he can be to me, usually on his back, with his legs sprawled straight up in the air. He does a little cuddling, then I fall back asleep, and then he jumps off the bed and gives a little "woof" because he has to go outside, lol.

I love that he is such a perfect little (er, "big" 14lb) companion and would spend all day with me if he could, running errands, going to school, etc. That is, IF he could.

He LOVES car rides and I get such a kick out of seeing his little head sticking out the cracked window I make for him, and his face looks SO funny, his hair all wind blown on his head. He looks like a skydiver that just jumped out of a plane.

I love how he's got sooo much personality and he's soo smart! He will start performing tricks for me without me even asking, just to get that tiny bit of food that he knows I will give him. The way he does sit, stay, down, come, shake, high five, plays dead, rolls over and dances, he's just so cute.

I love how much he thoroughly enjoys walks. He walks right beside me on his leash so nicely and he just looks so proud, taking in all the smells. Also, how much he just loves other dogs! His little tail just starts wagging soo fast and he kind of looks up at me like "Can I play, mom? Can I?"

I love that he SUCH a dog! He likes snow, mud, cold weather, hot weather, digging holes, jumping in the pool, eating grass, he just really enjoys being a dog. He just really LOVES life and you can see it in his eyes!

What a wonderful thread! Everyone's babies are just so sweet.

I love how Sadie likes to sleep in in the morning. She will sleep with us until 10-11 on the weekends if we let her. She also gets very annoyed during the week that we wake her up when we get up to get ready for work. And she is known to hear the alarm clock and come curl up on your stomach as if to say, "no, you may not get up!"

She is also so good with little kids. If we take her out in public and there is children she sits so still so they can pet her and not be afraid. last weekend we meet a little girl with her family and she was so timid and Sadie was so good with her. She was about 11 yrs old and after she finally pet Sadie and they were leaving her big sister told us she had recently been attacked by a dog and that meeting Sadie was very theraputic for her sister...I cried!

She is also so funny about her hair No bows, No ponytails, Nothing! (very similar to me as a child :rolleyes: )

Sadie has a general love for everybody and everything she is just so wonderful and I feel lucky to be her mommie!

There are so many things I love about Pixel. Here are some I can think of right now:

1. How he will "dance" with me whenever I am dancing. I don't even have to "ask" him anymore, he just gets up and starts doing it. So funny and cute! I never have to dance alone anymore!

2. I love how I have my own personal stalker now. If I go into the computer room at home (where he isn't allowed), I can always feel someone watching me. I will look up and there's his little head trying to see over the gate. He'll just stare at me that way for as long as I'm in there.

3. He is lazy like me in the morning. Always streeeetching a lot and rolling around on the bed until I force him to get up. So cuddly and lovey in the morning :animal36

4. I love the way he goes totally nuts after a bath. Runs around all crazy and "scoots" all over the rug/furniture.

5. I love how he cocks his little head while I'm talking to him as if he is trying so hard to understand what I'm saying.

6. I love how sweet he is and how he will play with ANYTHING - even spiders :D

7. He is so cute how he uses his paw like a little hand and will paw at my face for attention, his toys, bugs (lol), etc. He is very cat-like in this way.

8. As annoying as it is, it is also cute how he cannot stand for me to be on the phone. He HAS to have my attention and this annoys him to no end! I try to ignore him, but I will see him in my peripheral vision "dancing," jumping, running around, doing spins, etc. ANYTHING he can think of to get me off the damn phone! LOL

9. I love that he knows the bedtime routine and when he sees me starting to get ready for bed (brushing my teeth, changing, etc.) he will then stand right in front of my bedroom door until I open it for him to come in for bed. I will see his little paw come under the door too - so cute! :)

There are tons more but I can't think of them right now.

I love it how Snickers is affraid to go upstairs, so every morning I come down stairs and I get a big huge mile and a whole bunch of kisses. :)

I love how Simba waves at people to get their attention. It especially works well when we visit seniors(he's a Therapy Dog) who have no expression on their face. They instantly start smiling! I also love it when I talk to him, he answers me with his "dog speak" like we're having a normal conversation. :aimeeyork
