| Any Canadian Yorkie owners on here? I'm in Canada and don't have access to many stores in my area, I'm wondering where to buy Yorkie products, pee pads, belly bands, grooming tools, etc at a decent price..I'm really trying to find bargain pee pads because that will be the only thing I will train him on, and I want to be as economical as possible. Thanks for any info!! |

| I have bought stuff on-line. Wal-mart is still one of the cheaper sources for products.

| I buy pee pads and grooming supplies at Walmart, my food at Petsmart or a boutique pet store and if you want, I can make you belly bands. Take the measurement around your dog's tummy and PM me with it. Take it fairly snug, but not so tight that you are squeezing his tummy smaller. PS - I live in Calgary, Alberta. Michele :-) |

| I get the Simple Solutions Pee Pads 150 pack box for $35 from Petsmart. They have that sale every so often. I use approximately 1 pad a day. I don't know about AB, but I buy other my pet food from a local chain called Tisol. I buy doggy hair products from boutique stores and certain Bosleys carry the brand I use as does Petland but the latter is too far away. |

| I'm from Canada!! We also live in Calgary, Alberta. I buy all my food and treats from 3 different specialty stores near my house. I try to only buy foods that are "natural and grain free". Orijen Regional Red is Dooie's favorite food out of all 7 different brands I've tried. He even likes it better than human food. (He's super picky for some reason...) Orijen is made in Alberta too, so that's always nice. As for pee pads, I work for a medical supply company and I find that Vets and breeders are always purchasing their "pee-pads" though us. But what we in the medical industry call them are "Underpads". They are apperently exactly the same thing, only called a different name and cost less than "Dog Training Pee Pads". Ours are sold in bags of 300 for $56 I think. They say pee pads have a scent so your dogs know to always pee on them, but somehow, dogs also know to always pee on the underpads too. Hmmm. I don't know what it is. Lastly, I have found that most of the smaller, more quaint specialty pet stores will have a larger variety of Dog clothing and better quality products. The more comercialized the store (Petsmart, Petland etc), the less they care about the pet. |

| Amazon You can also get these underpads and pee pads on amazon.com but you may have to pay a lot of freight and lots of amazon.com stuff wont ship to Canada.
