Deegan is like that too. He is so social and happy to meet everyone. It's nice to have an outogin dog like him, but it scares me a bit too that he's so friendly with people he doesn't know. It would be easy to lure him away. |
If we are inside of the house and someone walks by he will bark.But if we are outside and someone walks by Neo will chase that person down and jump/lick them to death.What a watch dog huh?He does bark and carry on when he is on my lap and my hubby even touches me though. Heather |
Yes! My furbabies love everyone that comes over. In fact, when I was selling my litter, everyone was impressed at how friendly my dogs were. Chester only bit one person and that was the DirecTv guy that came over. I think it's because as soon as he came in, he reached down to pet Chester and Chester didn't like it. But then again, Chester has never done that before and hasn't since. |
Gucci is barker when she is in the apt. She will bark if she hears a noise or see someone in the hallway. Outside is other story she doesnt bark at all, she is timid and shys away when people gets too close. If they let her smell them she will let them pet her. She gets a bit nervous around kids that are too noisy thou. I started taking her to the playground and she always stay by me. She will let the kids pet her if she sniff them first. Last sat a little girl came from behind to pet her, and she scared Gucci and she jump and snap at her. The little girl didnt even ask me first. I know Gucci needs more socialization. |

Chewy has completely baffling reactions to strangers. He is happy to see everyone (almost), and goes up to sniff them right away with tail all wiggly. Then, it's anyone's guess what he'll do. Sniff them more (in frantic way like they are wearing cheese anklets), show dissinterest, flinch suddenly as if he just smelled bad milk and hten hide behind me, lower his ears and begin a low growl (WITH EYE CONTACT! EEK!), bark at them, roll over for them, lick them to death...try to play with them like they are a dog. It seems completely random. I have figured this out: He HATES strangers telling him to lay or "down". Can't STAND that. He will immediately begin posturing aggressively against the stranger. Nothing agressive, but verry much a "Screw You and the Horse you took to get here!" kinda thing. Some barking then. I find that he reacts so dominantly to strangers odd, since we ALWAYS walked him and took him to friend's houses, had strangers over, went to stores with him, and he was always treated well and given treats. We made sure to have him play with older dogs, younger puppies, and dogs his own age. We made sure to have lots of strangers hold him and pet him. And yet he's still wiggy with strangers sometimes. Even the ones he really likes, only 1 in 7 are going to be able to pet him without him shying off. Kinda frustrating because I am pretty sure he wasn't abused (but not 100%), but he sure didn't have this trait when we got him. He got more and more this way under my care, i think...Not sure what I did wrong. LOVES children, little girls in particular. But if there's more than one child, he tucks his talk and tries to hide behind me. Then he will roll over and show his tummy. I don't think he's askin for a rub, but rather not to be eaten... He's agressive with some people, pee on himself shy with others, perfectly fine with others yet. I can't figure out what his trend is. Oh, he LOVES anyone who comes to visit though... |

Porscha is weird, at home she wil bark and bark at daddy when he walks in the door until he pets her, doesn't ever bark when I come home just runs around my feet. When we go out she is the pee queen! I hate it!! I have to hold her out so she doesn't pee on me and warn anyone who wants to pet her, she ALWAYS pees she gets so happy when people aknowledge her she goes crazy she loves everyone and every animal. The other day I let her down to run into my moms house (she has been there once or twice a week since I got her) and she still ran and jumped on my mom and peed all over her! It's crazy, but cute hopefully she grows out of it lol! |

Miko does not like strangers at all. He will bark at anyone he has never seen. It just takes the one time he sees you though, to know who you are and then he won't ever bark at the person. But generally he is such a barker. I think it's because he's mostly around us only all the time. He's gotta yorkie girl cousin that he's now and then and they play and love eachother but he doesn't much care for other dogs. Any suggestions? |
Buster loves everyone, even kids....Rylee dances around everyone with a toy in her mouth, but won't let anyone touch her :rolleyes: . |

Bell and Lilly loves everyone! They love all dogs too! I think the only thing Bell doesn't love is lizards, They are for hunting!! :eek: |
