Our little Dudley (4mo.) looks exactly like Wylie's mom's Marcel. He is a doll. He has a flat looking face and shorter nose where Kayla looks like the regular yorkie with the longer nose. They are all cute to me but Dudley just looks more babyish. He is 2lb.9oz. too. Little bitty. lol!!!!!

I think Pixie has a babydoll face..she is petite with a tiny round head, large eyes and shorter nose...my last yorkie had a longer nose and had more of what i would call a Teddy bear face.

I have 3 Yorkies and each one has a different look and size. You can see my Album and view their pictures and see what I mean:) I think each one is so cute in his/ her own special way. I think that is what makes us love them all the more;)

I think my Jeter has what some call the "baby Doll" face. Small nose , little head and big loving eyes, he is a little doll! He is just tiny all around too, he will be 2 on September 30th and is 2 1/2 pounds. My breeder did not use the terms "baby Doll" look or teacup and I get asked that all the time by others. All her boy's are the same price while her females are slightly higher, so she does not use size as a way to get $$$ for her pups. He also was not the runt of the litter. He came from a litter of 4 and was the 2nd smallest all the time he was at the breeders.

My Axl on the other hand has that "teddy Bear" face, He even reminds you of a Teddy when you see him. His nose is longer and Fluffy head and his ears just make him look like a big old Teddy Bear. My kids nick named him Boo Boo cause that is what my youngest son called his Teddy that he took every where. LOL Axl is also my Teapot baby, he is 13 months old and is 10 pounds!

I am not sure what term would be used to describe my li'l girl Yumi Yasha, She has no teddy bear look or the baby doll look, but she is a cute too. She is also 13 months old and is your average 5 1/2 pounds.

Lucas' legs are so long too!! They just prance don't they!? hehe:p

I have to comment on the baby doll face , it's not the same breed however, describes a shih tzu puppy perfectly :) sometimes a yorkie pup can also have the same look too. Or the teddy bear face > The two shih tzu puppies being held up are not the same ones, they are siblings. ;) My son is holding Miley up , and the 3rd picture is also Miley , baby doll face :)

I am not sure what a babydoll face is either but when I look at Niyah, I think of her as a babydoll anyway because she is cute no matter what kind of face she has.

You are so right, I just love the Shih Tzu's face, and dispostition too!

I like the Shih Tzu...My friend has a mix. Part Shih Tzu and part Peekenese. She got her for free from a friend of hers who is a breeder. I had a chance to get one too for a small rehomeing fee but it was a male and not neutered. I was not sure if he would stop spraying if I got him neutered since he was a year old already.

She has a really nice disposition. When I was looking for a toy breed, I narrowed it down to a Yorkie, Maltese or Shih Tzu but since I got Niyah, I believe it was meant to be I get a Yorkie.

Pixie is a babydoll.. Odie went Ruff Ruff..:p

I have to say that the baby doll face not matter the breed always have that baby look as they get older.. our friends use to have cocker spaniel.. and he always looked like a puppy due to his baby doll face..yes you may not be able to state the baby doll face... but many have that look which many love..

[B]All 5 of my yorkies have a different look. The girls at my vet's office say Chip has a Teddy Bear Face. (he has "alot" of hair, small, ears, a flatter face, bigger eyes, and a short nose. They say Tenci has a baby doll face. She has thinner hair, her ears are larger than Chips, her eyes are smaller, and her nose is longer than his, but she is smaller than him. I think all the babys on this thread are baby dolls. Here is a picture of Chip and Tenci. Chip is also in my advtar.

Babydoll face and teddybear face is just a term to describe the sweet face of the puppy it does not dictate that a breeder wants more money as indicated on this forum i have seen dogs without the babydoll face that cost a lot of money i think my phantom has a babydollface i am starting to believe that the smaller the features is what give off that babydoll look
