Omg, praying for Nico's safe return. This is one of my biggest fears! |
Start posting signs in your area (ALL OVER THE PLACE), call all Vets and Shelters EVERYDAY. Go on Craig's List, post a listing for a lost Yorkie and also look at listings that are selling Yorkies :( Prayer's coming your way :) |

I was just re-reading some of your prior posts - it was almost exactly 1 year ago that Jaxon died??? You must be hearbroken! I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers :( |
Place an ad and notify the police I'm praying for Nico's safe return. You should put an ad in the newspaper, and you should also notify the police. If someone has found Nico, and knows he is lost (which should be obvious that a Yorkie is not a stray), and is keeping him, it may be "theft." This is Alabama’s statute on Theft of Lost Property: "A person commits the crime of theft of lost property if he actively obtains or exerts control over the property of another which he knows to have been lost or mislaid, or to have been delivered under a mistake as to the identity of the recipient or as to the nature or the amount of the property, and with intent to deprive the owner permanently of it, he fails to take reasonable measures to discover and notify the owner." |
