So sorry for your loss...:cry8: RIP little Alfie. |
Joan, my heart breaks for you. we lost 2 yorkies back to back in the fall only 2 weeks apart. I know your pain. They were 15 and 17. we waited and had our time to grieve. We got an amazing yorkie puppy and love him to pieces. We considered other breeds thinking another yorkie would be too painful, but I am so glad I didn't go for another breed. The things we loved about ours are inherent to the breed. |
I am so sorry for your loss. I have been there as well when I lost Brutus and getting Maxwell, even within 30 days, brought some joy back into the house. |
I really appreciate your kind thoughts and sharing your experience! I know what you mean about getting another yorkie! Once a yorkie enters your heart, you're hooked! Noah is now a year and I'm so glad we have him. He's a sweetheart too but Oliver was our special pal for 10 great years. We love you, Ollie! |
I'm SO sorry for your loss! This must be very hard for you. When the time is right and you find the right dog, you will know it. Good luck. |
Joan I am so sorry, I know how much it hurts. I lost my 14 yr old in June of last year and it left such a deep hole in my heart. I am retired and she was my best pal even though I have lots of family and friends here she was the one that me laugh and was always here. I hope things get easier for you. I sometimes wonder if we should love them that much but if we didn't look what we would have missed out on for the years we had them. Welcome to Yorkie Talk and I hope to see you posting more. You are in my prayers. Hugs, Joan |
I am so sorry for your loss. |
I know what you mean about loving then so much but the love and joy they give is a gift from heaven. The following quote was written by an unknown author and speaks so well to all dog lovers. "He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion". How fortunate we are to have had this experience! |
Joan, I am so sorry for your loss. Lexi & I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Hope it helps a little to know people really do care and feel your pain too. Hugs Cheryl & Lexi:aimeeyork |
It definitely does! I'm so grateful to all of you and thank you for taking the time to write. |
I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my Yorkie Maya at 2 years old in a tragic accident and it was the hardest thing for me to deal with. She was like my baby and my best friend in one. Your precious little one will always be with you. Take care of yourself and remember we are all here for you. |
I so sorry for your loss of Scampi and Alfie. Please share some of your wonderful memories when you are ready. Time with our furbabies just passes too fast. My heart is heavy for you. Hugs, Joanne |
I am so sorry for your loss. |
So sorry to hear about your Yorkies Joan and it is good you are not making a quick decision on another adoption but if you do, the Morkies are cute. It is hard when a pet passes on. It hurts just as bad as losing a human and a shame that many people out there don't understand that. Forgot to add...Welcome to Yorkie Talk. |
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm so sorry for your loss. Keep your head up though things will get better. |
