| Vocal yorkie!? Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask all of you, is your yorkie(s) vocal!? Fiona cracks me up everyday with this! She hates to be brushed, or groomed, typical, i know, but when i'm in the middle of doing something she doesnt like she makes a groining sound, like she is annoyed! Now that there is a new man in my life, we spend a lot of time at his house, and he has a yellow lab/pitt mix Honey whom is very gentle with Fiona and they have lots of fun together, well every morning, Jeff will get up and let them both out, now lately, Fiona has been barking or growling to get him up! Do any of your babies do this too!? I swear, she is a little human!

| Gracie Ruth & Yogi are both very vocal. They talk to us & each other about everything. Yammering, yipping, yapping, chortles, grrr's, all sorts of noises. G even sass's back when I scold her. Not so much now as she use to, but it is all I can do to stay stern when she does it. I love how vocal they are. Boo isn't as vocal as the other 2 and he'll look so mad at them sometimes when they are carrying on. I can just hear him saying, "Will you please shut up, you're giving away all our secrets!"

| My Mo is talks alot--not barking. I can't really explain the way he does it. If he has just been out and all needs met, sometimes it gets on my nerves and I will tell him to go lay down, after a few minutes he will comeback but make this sound much quieter. I think its his way of whispering! I really do. lol But he is always making little baby sounds too when I pet him, scratch him etc. Even the groomer has commented on how cute it is. Mayzie just BARKS!

| Up until this last month I would have said no but lately Amelia has found her voice and now talks a LOT. She seems to have an opinion about everything. |

| Oh yes, When Ranger wants up I will look at him and be like, "what baby?" and make an I don't know what you want face. He starts yipping at me to pick him up, and he will not stop until he is. Usually unnecessary barking would make me mad, but I feel like he is trying to communicate with me, so it doesn't.

| We call Bailey our little singer. I probably need to video tape her & put it on YouTube or something, it is SO funny! She sings when she's happy & being playful...I've never heard a dog do that before, but I can't explain it any better. My mom stayed with us a while ago and asked one morning "What IS that????", and it was Bailey & Buster playing upstairs, with Bailey singing. Buster (our boy) is very whiny when he's sad or wants something, or even sometimes just when he's tired he'll let out a big sigh. They both bark at other dogs, but not as much as they used to (they are 8 months old now & I use a water squirt bottle when they bark exessively & they stop). They also grunt when daddy plays with them & pets them in the morning. I never knew dogs could be so vocal!

YT 2000 Club Member | Tucker is very vocal, other than my beagle he is probably the most "talkative" dog I have ever owned. When he was a small pup he would howl to get our attention. Now he yips very loudly when he is playing or in his kennel and wants out. He only barks when my other dogs bark, but his yipping can get to be quite loud.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Yes yes! Aiden is very vocal. He basrks at everyone that enters or attempts to get near me. And at 7:330 pm he talks to us and cries to go to bed. He actually talks to us. I have to have my daughter record it and I'll post it...too funny!

| I wouldn't consider Jackson "vocal" except for sometimes when he's playing with his other dogs, if they are laying down and he wants them to play, he will get in a "bow" position and bark at them until they are ready to play, and during the play, he will bark too. That gets very annoying lol. I'm like... can't you just play quietly?! And if I'm sitting on the computer, and he's just bored or wants to play or something, he stares at me and just does like whimpering kind of thing. I ask him "What?!" lol. He's definitely full of personality.

| Puddie, my male has quite a range of "vocality" . Aside from normal doggie noises such as barking, yipping, yapping and growls, he purrs like a cat, chortles and yodels, too. He has an amazing range of ways to communicate. Bella just wags her tail and yaps |

| Daisy is very vocal, I love it. When she wants to play she will sit by my feet and just stare at me, if I ignore her she will jump on my lap and start "talking" its hard to explain the noise she makes. In the morning when I wake her up she'll roll on her back and make this sound as if saying, a few more mins mom im still tired. I’ve noticed my kitten started doing the same thing. Daisy makes this sigh if I don’t pay attention to her, and just the other day the kitten did almost the same thing. It is the cutest thing ever! |
