| ![]() I start summer school in July, just a 4 week course- from 8 am til 1230 with a break in between. I contacted the dean and he said Ella could come to class with me with approval of the instructor. So..... I emailed the instructor and she said that she can come the first day to see how it goes!! And if it goes well she can continue to come. I am super excited but also nervous. Ella comes to basketball games with me and is very well behaved there- she lays in my lap the entire time and either looks around or sleeps. She also came to work with me and she had a little more freedom there but she was still very good. I hope I dont look like an idiot trying to bring a crazy dog to class.. I want her to be calm! And I am pretty sure she will be ok but......... ![]() I am hoping that she will just lay in my lap but I am bring her kennel also. And I bought a kong to keep her busy in her kennel- what kind of treat should I put in it to keep her busy for a while. I was thinking peanut butter- thats safe right? Any particular kind, or other ideas? Thanks ![]()

| ![]() Wow, this is amazing! I've never even thought to ask, but I hardly think I would be as lucky. Although, there is a professor in my college that brings her Yorkie to work with her (but I think she leaves him in her office while she teaches). How exciting! I really have any advice for you--because I What did you say to the dean when you asked? Lol ![]()

| ![]() Lucky You!!! I wish I could bring one of mine with me to the office each day. I'd be sure to take her out for a good long walk early in the morning so that she'd have some of her energy worked out and be more inclined to rest/sleep during class. Wee-Wee pads are a good idea if outside isn't readily available. And some water. Good luck, and let us know how it goes that first day. ![]()

| ![]() ![]() ![]() But.... I walk into class one day last week and the teacher asks where Ella was. (Well actually she called her "pup-dog" she actually never asked what her name was. So that was a sign I guess....) And I told her that she stayed home with my grandmother for the day to give her a break. So the teacher was like "OH thats good she cant come anymore I got a complaint yesterday sorry." I was so confused. Of course I just said okay I understand, so that I wouldnt be disrespectful but really... I didnt understand at all. She was perfect. And IMO the teacher just changed her mind about letting her come I think because she doesnt particularly like me because I have my own ideas. Because.... IF there had been a complaint the day before, she would have emailed me the night before to tell me not to bring her. (The class does a lot online and we all frequently exchange emails, including the teacher). Personally, I think that she just saw an opportunity to say hey dont bring her anymore.... Anyway I guess it doesnt matter it just bothers me that she said that someone complained.... Ugh. And Im upset because I thought it was going so well. It wa a shock. Oh well, Ella just stays with my grandma in the mornings whiel I am at school. Sorry for the long post... just needed to vent..... *sigh*

| ![]() I am so sorry that your dog cannot attend class with you anymore. I am glad that your grandma can watch your dog while you attend class. ![]() |
