you guys did the right thing ! this boy ig gorgeous! He is now safe and in a loving home . He can be potty trained , with patience , and understanding. Congradulations ! I am very happy he is out of there. :D |
What a handsome boy Sabestian is. Lucky little guy to go home with you, bless your kind heart. I am sure he will follow his sister and potty train as well, given time. He must love his freedom. This is exactally why I no longer go into pet stores that have dogs;) Buddy is from one and I know I couldn't resist getting another if I saw one behind bars again. Congratulations, |
Hes so cute! Im sure he will have a good home from now on :) |
Thanks so much everyone :) |
He is such a handsome boy! Congrats on the new addition to your family. I am sure potty training can be done the key is to be consistent in your training methods! Good luck and congrats again! |
I went through the same dilemma. Stella was in the pet store when I went to buy my parents' dog an Easter outfit at Easter, and when I went back a month and a half later she was still there, and I felt so bad for her. Now knowing how bored she gets when she's alone for 15 minutes--I can't imagine her being there for that long! Since we had been looking for a Yorkie from a reputable breeder for over three months with no luck (they all blame the economy for not having puppies, which I understand, but...we got a lot of negative attitudes too, which I didn't like), we decided to save her from the pet store since the local store at least had a good reputation and Stella's personality was stunning--not to mention ALL of her routine visits and vaccs at a great vet clinic for the next 10 years are free. I'm happy to say she's in great health, and the vet was very impressed with the health of all the potential problem areas--teeth, knees, spine, etc. Sometimes it just works out best for you and the pup :) |
Aww! He is such a looker how could you have passed him up! He is so lucky to have been saved by you!! You saved him and now he can start living and have a great life. Good luck with the potty training. My guy was 9 months when we got him and was only in foster care for 2 weeks and she had just started PT him. He has learned really fast. Maybe, it was easier because of him being older and not a lil pup. I am sure with persistence you will succeed. Just keep taking him out very often. The first 2 days mine just wanted to go and sniff the yard, but once he started going on all the bushes that was all it took. Within a week he was getting the routine down. Congratualtions!!! |
I sure if he could talk he would say THANK YOU THANK YOU !! He's a real cutie pie. |
