Nicknames
 
I have realized that I rarely call my dogs by there actual names unless they are in trouble. lol. Do your babies have nicknames? What are they?

Tobie - I usually call Tobie "Tobers" but sometimes "Monster" if he is being awnry :p My husband calls him "Doodle"... it started out as "Tober Doodle" but he shortened that to Doodle. lol
Jasmine - Most of the name "Jazzy" but sometimes "JazzyMan" or "Jazzercise"
Caz - His aren't very creative because he already has a short name but we call him "Caz Caz" or "Cazzy"

lol yes its strange you should say that . Tia is always shortened to Tee Tees, mad really when you think about it , it actually sounds longer lol

Anakin is usually Annie, and Bella with an emphasis on the double "ll"...like in spanish. :)

i dont know how i got started on it but when it is time to play or go for a walk i call sammy '' mister man '' in a certain tone and he starts hopping up and down and runs to the door or his toy. it is funny how we come up with their nicknames. but he knows what it means.

I know, sometimes you will start calling them something completely random and you have no idea where it comes from. lol. I used to always call Jasmine "Angel Pie" .. does that even make sense? lol

I rarely call Molly by her proper name...its usually 'Molzy' or 'my little scruff ball'!!

Lucas is usually Schnigglefritz (sp?) or Monkey or Little Monster or Snuggle Pup ...The list goes on :P

We call call Laci , Stink, but in a loving way, when we first got her and switched her food she " tooted " ALOT so we called her Stink...now if you say stink.. she comes running, it is said with true love tho!!

Yup same over here! Uni is her actual name, and when I refer to her here, it's Uni. But when I call her, it's mostly Noonie. Then Captain, Crusty Face, Crustables, Stinky, Wetbeard, Nunez, Nooners

Aaaahhhh, my very first Yorkie, Spencer was nicknamed Doodle...Spencer Doodle Dog. Winston really doesn't have a nickname, of course I call him my sweet pea or my love bug at times...as a pup I think he thought his name was "Doin'" as in wha 'cha doin'? But it never really stayed with him as he got older...he's just Winston.

We actually got "wetbeard" from someone on YT, was that you??? They said Pirate Wetbeard, which we thought was hilarious, b/c our family is all pirate theme. Like to the max!:D

I usually end up calling mine sweetie pie or some such. But I do the stupidest thing. I sing "Miss Curly Mac, Mac, Mac, all dressed in black, black, black. With silver butttons, buttons, buttons, all down her...
and then Jack will say head, head, head cuz her head turned silver lol.
Well:D She used to be almost completely black and she seems to like when I sing that hahaha. K, yes, I'm dumb.

No, not me but that is super cute! We just call him wetbeard when he just got some water and comes over with water dripping off his beard. Sometimes I think he sticks his whole lower jaw into the water bowl. lol

LOL. I do the same thing! My current song is when Tobie comes prancing into the room I start to sing "Here comes Tobie dog, here comes Tobie dog, right down Tobie dog lane". :p I'm sure I sing and talk to my dogs way too much....nah, that's not possible. hehe

These nicknames are so cute!

I call Addie Addie-ah sometimes (it's a Korean mom thing and I just picked it up). I also call her Stinky and Bunny.
Stinky because her farts are like death and Bunny because she has ears like one and will hop around like one.

Hahaha! We cantonese say "ah" as in: "aye yah!" which means: OMG!, G*d D*mn it!, F***!, Geez!, and even "Shut up!", "whatever", "stop", :rolleyes: Pretty much anything *negative* :p

For Roxy we call her Nana (im not sure why it just seemed cute)
and Charlie we call Tartar haha
alot of the time they respond more to their nick names than their actual names!

Gotta love nicknames! Toby is often called Tober, Tobster, Mama's Boy, or Little Man. My Aunt calls him Toby Two for some reason. :confused: My cousin is one year old and he calls him Oby. :D

:yelrotflm that's a good one, we call Bluebelle; baba or Belle! DH started it and it stuck.

Just took Bluebelle and Poppie (MIL's pup and Bluebelle's sister) to meet their first child....he only expected to meet Bluebelle and kept getting confused and calling them Blueie and Poobelle - he's only 4.
