My husband gave Harley the nickname of messpot. He also calls him Harley larley and he'll kind of sing it to him with 3 larley's on the end and Harley actually gets mad and will growl and bark at him. It's almost like my husband is making fun of him and it ticks him off. Too funny!

Yeah, nicknames must be my "thing" or something. I'm always coming up with some new nickname for my Laci... even my children... It's an ever-changing cycle with me... :D
As for Laci, she started as Laci, then changed to Laci-boo, then just boo, then for some reason the name Boobie stuck... Until my 9 yr old was outside with her and yelled "Boobie" really loud, and embarrassed us all! LOL! So now she's back to Boo.
Then for some reason I like to call her "Stinky Mcfearson" when she's all stinky... then I sometimes change Stinky to other things... Like Barky Mcfearson... or Silly Mcfearson... or Jumpy Mcfearson... etc.

Triton- TriteBrite, TriteMan, Tritester

Lilo- Princess, Princess Pie Big Girl Face ( i know its wierd, but it just came out that way!)

Coral- Little bit, Manini ( which is little bit in hawaiian), and Baby

This thread made me lol because my skin kids were making fun of me just this past weekend for all the nick names I have for Brutus. Little B, Brutie, Bruite Foo Foo, and Foofer. :D

Fergus has a TON of nicknames:

little little
fer-baby
rotten
"the baby" (since he is youngest of 3)

when we had my dad's pup here waiting to give it to him and he didn't have a name everyone refered to him as "little little little" LOL which was so funny since Ferg is "lil little".

oh and my teenage son thinks its funny to call him "carcas" . I am not amused!

My baby's name is Abby. I call her Abby Dabby Do, or AbbyCadabby. Bless her heart, sometimes I call her Peanut which was the name of my fiest who died in February. She doesn't seem to mind what I call her, she is usually right under my feet anyway.

Yep, I have little love names,

Chipsterdoodle's nicknames are: "doodle-bug", "fuzz face", "Lover", "boy".

Sophie's nicknames are: "Sopher", "little loaf of soph", "girlie girl"

Together nicknames are: "It's the chips and sophie show, staring chip and sophie" (usually I say this when they enter a room together)

Teddy is rarely called just Teddy. We call him Teddy bugs or really just bugs and then we call him Mr. Bear.

I love this. My first two dogs were Bright Eyes and Button Nose or Big Eyed Boy. Emily is Honey Bun, Honey Bunny, Honey Bunches of Oats and the groomer calls her Little Miss Emilly.:aimeeyork:aimeeyork:aimeeyork

My name is Fido.
His pedigree name is Gulltoppa Amadeus Happy Cover so we often call him Amadeus and Happy :)
My friends mom always calls him Fiddi so sometimes i call him that too ;)

Those are all cute nicknames. I too have some as well. My Duchess is Marie when I'm calling her to come to me. When she is in my lap and I am spoiling her I cuddle with her ans say "My Marie mon sherie" in a french accent. Contessa is my baby. I just say "My Baby" in a really high pitch voice and she rolls over on her back and I pick her up and cradle her in my arms till she falls asleep. Sebastian is "Hoppy". I call him Hoppy in a really high pitch voice and he jumps and whines till I pick him up. And in a Brittish accent I say "Oh he loves his mummy" and he gives me tons of kisses. Autum is called Ariel. I say "Oh my Ga Ariel" and she lays on her side and kicks her leg and wags her tail all crazy. When they are in trouble it's usually their names I call them by.
