Did the breeder have any other breeds of dogs? Does she only breed yorkies? I ask because the head shape, ears and eyes really make me think of a chi.

Regardless, I completely agree that this breeder epitome of what prospective puppy buyers should beware of. Your puppy is not special. (certainly he is special to you, but not special regarding breed standards) I truly hope that he has a long life without any major health issues from his condition.

He is definately so cute... One thing I want to advice u is that I hope ur breeder didn't make u pay more because of his color. It is a defect whether he is cute ot not and probably should have been sold for a little less. To me blue borns are different then having a chocolate or blonde one because they say on blue horn the skin where the blue is can somethimes have no hair and become leathery. Which is sometimes painful for the pup.

Awww. He's a doll. Does look a more chi like Fanny said, if he is maybe it'll work in his favour. Laddie was a BIG boy, but sooo.. lovable, a real character. Real naughty though, used to deliberatly stalk up behind his dad[doggy] and push him in the fish pond for an improptue bath. good thing he could swim.

That was my first thought also because he looks like my grandaughters chi. But maybe it is because of his condition. Best of luck with your little one.

What a cute pup! It looks exactly like my Aunts chihuahua. Not to say its not a Yorkie, but the similarities are amazing. Good luck with you puppy. I hope he never has any health issues like many off color Yorkies do.

aww hes a cutie!! he does look like a chihuahua to me also... but you would know. he is a cutie and I hope that he lives a long and healthy life!!

Awwww, He's a Cutie Pie. And He is special no matter what anyone says. Remember God doesn't make mistakes, only people. He was put here for a reason. Your life will be richer in some way because of him , no matter how short or long that may be. Enjoy him.

KEEEEEEEEYUTE!!! Not sure your vet wasn't completely off the mark on what breed you got though. You sure that's a Yorkie. Makes no difference to me and he's the cutest little thing whatever make n model you got!!!

when I first saw the pictures of your puppy I kept thinking he was a little gray haired chi , as well. However, I was not certain, and did not want to upset the Op either. However, I then read the responses of other YTer's who also felt that Blaze might be a Chi too. He is very cute though :thumbup: Best wishes to the OP!

Oh, and I really hope we aren't being offensive, saying he looks chi. I just think when we put out as much cash as we do for our pups, we should get what we pay for. Now I have no idea how much a sweet baby chi costs, maybe more than a yorkie??? Either way, you should know what you have for a lot of reasons.
I wonder, did you (the op) see the parents of the pup?
