				 | Supersize Yorkie I just came back from the vet with Lulu she is 16 wks and 4.24 lbs. Looking at the growth chart she is off the chart . Her breed said her parents were 6 and 5 lbs. yeah right. Oh well there will just be more of her to love .

				 | My Reggie is not pure Yorkie (he is 3/4 Yorkie and 1/4 Lhasa Apso) but he weighs 10 lbs and will be 1 year old on Aug 11. He is bigger than a yorkie but smaller than my friend's silkies. To me he is the perfect size for him! LOL! I have seen larger pure yorkies around here too. In fact my daughter's best freind's yorkie is a bit on the larger size because she is around 4 lbs and about the same age as yours. Here she is with Reggie: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...metovisit1.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...metovisit4.jpg |

				 | I got a mini teapot. Cohen is 8 pounds now. But I think he'll get bigger. I love him so much. His breeder said that she thought he would be between 2 and 5 pounds! Ha! You never can estimate perfectly. But he is so perfect.

| not ending love Donating Member | My Jasmin had 5 pups, they are 10 weeks now and one of them is about 4 lb, he is already with his new family, the girl, my co-worker asked me today, "why is he getting so big?" I told her I don't know, my dogs are 5 dad and 6 mum (I know that they live with me) and she also saw them, I just did not like her tone it is not my fault that the dog is getting that big, so I told her, just bring him back, and go to get one in the pet shop , I know, I know, but if you got a dog is because you going to love him....all the other pups are small, but I really don't think is nothing wrong with a big puppy and i will take him back in a heartbeat, I gave her a good price, I wish I could have found a yorkie for that money when I was looking for one, no matter the size, for real, sometime people P.S just in YT you can see truly dog lovers, I know this is not my thread, but any advice anyone? |

				 | Twinkle's mum and dad were both within the standard size, but she's 12lb now at a year old....Wicket look set to be a teapot too (5lb at 5months)....they both seem sooooo small though! You'll need to join the teapot club here at YT xxx

| YT Addict | Sounds like you are going to have a bruiser too! Harley's parents were 5lbs (mom) and 4.5 lbs (dad) so I wasn't expecting him to get over 5. Too my surprise he is over 11 lbs now! |

				 | Jackson is pure as far as I know, he sure looks & acts pure Yorkie lol, and he's 14lbs. He weighed in at 6 pounds at his 12 week appointment, LOL. I love the bigger Yorkies, more to love, right? His parents were 7 and 8 pounds.

				 | You double the weight at 12 weeks so she may still be within the standard
