Cheerios I don't think 8 weeks is too young to give Cheerios for training, but if you are concerned, call your vet and see what they have to say. |
He loves them!! Well I've read on YT several times that yorkies love Cherrios....last weekend I brought a small box and tried to give them to my Bryan as a snack.....he walked up to my hand sniffed the cherrio and turned up his nose and walked away. I was crushed...I trying not to give him milkbones and pupperonies anymore and wanted a healthier snack other than his apples and whole baby carrots...so last night right before bed i took some cherrios and put them in a small plastic bowl and off to the bedroom we went...i sat on the side of the bed and of course he jumped his little butt on the bed and i started feeding him the cherrios and he loves them:D he could not get enough:thumbup: This is Bryan new snack ! |
I think cheerios would be fine....... you may start by breaking one in half and giving it to him in 2 pieces. |
Bailey is 12 weeks and 2 weeks ago he wouldn't touch Cheerios for training, now he loves them, it's a great training treat, I break them up in smaller pieces. |
Well I quarter them and Yuriy loves them. Does cartwheels etc etc.:cool:Tasted them myself for 1st time. Could only do 2 cartwheels before accepting defeat.:D He got his first full visit to Vets yesterday, passport, 1st Jag, earclean. When I asked her opinion of Cheerios all I got was Que? Never had heard of them. Anyway full check-up totally satisfactory. Passed with flying colours and toilet-training is going very well indeed. Clever little bhoy. Sleeps all night for a min. of 7/8 hours so no complaints all round:D |
