| ![]() Here we are tonight watching Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations Hong Kong episode. Me and bf were talking about how the Chinese cooks use the wok to cook. "oh look at that huge wok". And Uni gets up with her ears all high thinking we said "walk". LOL She knows the word "walk" so good that when we even say it with accents she know what we just said. We have to spell W-A-L-K now. ![]() anyone else have any words you have to spell so your babies don't understand? Better yet, anyone have babies that can understand you when you spell??? any bilingual babies??? LOL

| ![]() My Marley is bilingual. I bought her here in Japan at 5 months. Whenever someone speaks to her in Japanese she gets all excited and seems to understand. But she knows commands in English as well. I call her my bilingual baby!

| ![]() Sadie Mae (RIP) knew the spelling of several words. I keep having to change what I called things so that she wouldn't know what I was talking about. For example: I went from saying "Walk", to spelling it, to calling it "The W Thing", to "Trip", to "Play"...then I just gave up. ![]() Here she is celebrating her 16th birthday. ![]()

| ![]() In addition to spelling out "walk" and "treat", we also have to spell out "go" or he will get overly excited, and we have to spell out "bath" or he'll get scare. Duke is funny because he is surrounded by people who speak English, Vietnamese and Spanish, so he understands commands in all 3 languages...
