He steals my floss! Whenever I am flossing and he "hears" it his ears shoots up and he comes flying to me and literally steals it out of my mouth if I let him! So that was one of those days when I gave him one of my floss thingy and he started to play with it. I took a number of pics and that was one of them. I guess he wanted to show me he has a healthy smile cos he flosses...LOL Gucci flossing: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...i/DSCF1243.jpg | |

| Senior Yorkie Talker | Gucci looks Yorkie to me and I am the proud owner of a Silky that people are always referring to as a Yorkie! I am now past the point of correcting people or getting into a "discussion" with them. |

| I think one of the most obvious differences between silkies and Yorkies are the head. I have copy and pasted the standard for the silky head and the yorkie head. You can see how that describes a much different shape. Silky Head The head is strong, wedge-shaped, and moderately long. Expression piercingly keen, eyes small, dark, almond shaped with dark rims. Light eyes are a serious fault. Ears are small, V-shaped, set high and carried erect without any tendency to flare obliquely off the skull. Skull flat, and not too wide between the ears. The skull is slightly longer than the muzzle. Stop shallow. The nose is black. Teeth strong and well aligned, scissors bite. An undershot or overshot bite is a serious fault. Yorkie Head Small and rather flat on top, the skull not too prominent or round, the muzzle not too long, with the bite neither undershot nor overshot and teeth sound. Either scissors bite or level bite is acceptable. The nose is black. Eyes are medium in size and not too prominent; dark in color and sparkling with a sharp, intelligent expression. Eye rims are dark. Ears are small, V-shaped, carried erect and set not too far apart. Yours is all yorkie! I cannot believe why that woman thought it was any of her business anyway! I liked your description of her "a "wrongful informed Silkies that aren't yorkies" vigilante " Sounds like someone who just wants to be an expert voice without really studying up on anything. BTW -- that is a beautiful shine on your Yorkie's coat -- says someone is taking great care of her! Gucci is living up to her name -- a classy girl!

Bottom line though, if it is my dog and I say it is a hippo, it still would not be some "lady-that-I don't-even-know's" place to tell me it is not.

![]() I do take very good care of his coat. I want to start grooming him myself but I am afraid I'd butcher him ![]() I am now using the Allergy-proof shampoo but I use either garnier or that orgasmic product conditioner....remember the one that came out with a woman who'd have an orgasm while washing her hair....I don't remember the name. I use to use all dog products but they ones available here are really low quality and have that certain "dog" smell and after that whole no liquid on board ordeal I stopped bringing it from the US unless I am checking in a bag. | I do not understand why anyone would mistake your Gucci as anything BUT a Yorkie! He is very hansome. My Suzi has the excat same colorings right now! She is only 15months old. Looking at the pictures of his back, looks liks my Suzi! However, she has more of the silver blue on top of her head and ears right now. It's is funny how some people think they know everything about dog breeds, and are still wrong
