A new yorkie baby :)
 

I had taken Suzi to be groomedthis afternoon. When walking her and my son out, a elderly woman saw me while pulling up in her car. SHe asked me if i was looking for anther yorkie pup, which of course , I said YES! SHe pulled into the parking lot , telling me that she knows a person who has Yorkie pups . I gave her my number.
Within an hr. of going home I got a call. It was the breeder. Her pups are AKC, and will be ready for new homes next week. She asked me what I was interested in, male or female. I let her know right away I was wanting a female.
The momma yorkie had a litter of 6 babies, and one did not make it. She said she has just 2 more available. One male, and I claimed the little baby female.
I am going to see them tommorrow! If all goes well , I will placing a deposit on a new baby. The puppies went to the vet today and had their first vaccinations. The little girl is 2lbs, and will be only 9 weeks old.
Suzi was the same age when I brought her home, and a lb bigger. The breeder has all puppies with their momma , and they are eating and drinking on their own. She told me the babies love to play with their mom, and they were chasing her around as I was talking to her. LOL. :)
SHe said that the mom has bred once before and it's her second litter. The male was smaller then the mom. ANd they are both AKC regerstered. She has papers on the babies .
She is asking a very good price for them, and the deposit is very reasonable.
My Suzi does not have papers. ANd is a pure bred Yorkie. I can't believe the luck I had ! This elderly woman led me straight to a goldmine.
When the lady talked to me I could tell she was also elderly. She stays at home and takes care of her husband who is on kidney dialisis.
I am bringing my camera and taking pictures! :D If all goes well I can bring home a new baby next week > :cool:

thanks guys ! I can't believe how it has workied out! I am going to Fresno today to see all the babies and their momma. :D
I could not get a lot of sleep , so I am drinking the starbucks Expresso as I type .
The names I have so far are Emmy, Chole , Eva . I have a Suzi, and need something that goes well with her ! I like the girly names for my baby :) Any ideas ? ;)

When are you going? I keep checking in to see if you've been yet. I feel like I'm the one getting a new puppy lol!

I love the name Emmy. Or, Daphne, Kami, Tessa, Nina, Pixie, Ally.

Oh, I'd better stop or I'll start wanting another girl!!

I like Chloe or Eva. I've also always like Ivy for some reason. Hmmm..maybe I need another little girl just so I can name her Ivy.... :p j/k.

My son and I are going right now to see the puppies, and our baby girl .It is extra special , because this baby is going to be a service animal. WE just recieve Dr.'s approval. Me and my son are both Disabled, and that is why i have Suzi, and requested anther one for my son> He is nearly 16yrs old . HE is high functioning. And I am going to be the one in charge og the training, and care of all our babies . however, he loves Suzi so much , and very good with her.
We have have good experiences taking Suzi to his SDC class room in high school with special needs kids. It is amazing and touching how responsive these kids are , and how sweet, Suzi is. I am looking forward to anther sweet baby to join our family and bring us great joy into our lives.

It turned out to be an exciting day yesterday ! With a little twist ! I had my brother go with me to fing the breeders home, it was a littleover an hr. drive. Not that big of a deal.
We get there, a very nce woman answers, we are greeted with a few of the the most tiny cuteist little puppies. HOWEVER, they are nOT yorkie's !!!! :confused: I look at the breeder and ask her where her yorkie's are. She looks at me, I don't have yorkie's, these are already a handful>
LOL, Turns out the old lay who stopped me in the parking lot did not know her friend had SHiH tzu's :p The thing is , this is the breed I have been mulling over. I think they are adorable too. And actually have researched them too.
The little female baby is 2lbs, and looks like a stuffed animal. SHe is very mellow, and all of the pups have been held. The momma is a sweetheart. She would roll over to be petted.
SO we are getting a Shih Tzu . Suzi is having a new baby sister. a little fluff ball. I still do not know what to name her yet!
i am going to get pict. ready of her, she really is a doll. :D

Congratulations!! I love Shih Tzu's! I had one years ago, little Bridgette. I still think about her with a smile. They are a wonderful breed. Yes, please post pictures of your new baby! :)

OK I have a couple of pictures of my new baby . I am picking her up next week. Tues, or Wednesday. In the picture, she looks bigger then she really is! :D The breeder is holding her in her hand for me.
