White Yorkie?
 

I was just browsing through Puppyfind & I saw an ad for a white colored Yorkie. Is this possible? Or perhaps it's a Morkie?

My guess is that its a morkie. Its not the first time I have seen one advertised as a white yorkie.

A parti is a yorkie thats lighter in color. Ive seen golden and tan ones but never a white one. Maybe it is a parti.

No, I don't think that one is an albino. But right after I got Lucy my neighbor said they were looking at getting an albino Yorkie. Anyone ever heard of this? I think someone was trying to pull something over on them, they said the breeder was asking $1000. Just wondering.

This is not an albinos . Albinos dogs don't have pigmentations . Their eyes are red , nose and pads are pink .

I think it is a mix dog .

Well all I can say by looking at the second pic is keep the bathroom cleaner away from your Yorkie, it sure takes the color out lmao :p

I read in "Yorkies for Dummies" that non-conforming dog colors can be a sign of serious problems. Off color Yorkies should be always be neutered and sold as pet quality dogs and have a clause to neuter or spay the dog.

I clicked the link you left for puppyfind on this particular pup, then checked the other adds that this "breeder" had listed. The breeder has Pom chi's and others listed.This little pup is a mixed breed pup. However in the add the person(s) selling it are saying it is purebred. :rolleyes:

This are very rare...Only a few and few breeders in the USA. Just got one for my little girl. He is essentially white as snow. The breader is acorn mannor in Wilmington, NC. You can go to Twitterpad breaders and they explain everything about the breed. He has ACA papers.

Is ACA a new breed organization?

it's a Maltese, Yorkie mix, once know as a MUTT, just as USED CARS are now called "pre-owned" cars, mutts are now re-named
designer dogs". And sell for top dollar. I am not against mixing certain breeds, you get temperaments of both breeds in one dog, which could be a good thing. Gee what would they call a pit bull mixed with a standard poodle? geeez what would it even look like???? lol

I haven't been around for a few years but I know from past experience on YT this could get really nasty really quick. My Bogey is totally blonde in color and I do believe that he is "mostly Yorkie" but think he's probably mixed somewhere in his past with a Maltese. Doodlebug is from a puppy mill rescue and his mother was a Maltese since I actually saw her when I went to pick him up as a puppy. His father was said to be a Yorkie but I did not see him so I just assume the information is accurate. From the picture of Acorn Manor, both Bogey and Doodlebug could be called PartiYorkies because they look like some of those dogs. It's a shame that an actual geneticist couldn't give an unbiased scientific explanation about a Parti. All of my previous experiences were Parti breeders who argued their beliefs regarding the Yorkies with color variations. Their arguments were always overwrought with emotions regarding their breeding beliefs. I'd love to see actual scientific facts.

But as for Bog and Dude they are both worth a $1,000,000 to me because I love them and they are my pound puppies <3 But the money I could have made off my pretty boys if I hadn't neutered them.....BTW I'm pretty sure that Bogey was probably used for stud. He was over a year when I adopted him and not neutered. Just look at that face in my avatar. :)

When I searched "Acorn Manor, NC" I got a bunch of BBB complaints and "Bad breeder" entries. This looks like a breeder to run from!
However, if you are really looking for "breaders and mannors" I don't know what to tell you!!

Yorkies can have "white" genes in the lines. So some can have fur turn white. Its not the desired color unless you want "Parti" But it becomes a problem when a "Breeder" has one and tries to sell or breed them as rare and ask outrageous amounts of $$. More than pups from a Championed Dam and Sire. Which means unethical breeding which shouldn't be supported. I can understand selling a healthy pup but they should try to get rich and keep breeding the pair. Papers don't mean anything. Its the lines that make the papers. And the healthy pup that goes with them

I sold 3 dogs to Mrs. (name) in May of 08. first dog Brown Sugar, Ms (name) bred this dog at least 3 to 4 times. last Christmas the dog had 6 all chocolate pups for Ms (name) she-- sold them for $1200 each .They are still on hr web-site.Parti Color Yorkie puppies for sale - Yorkshire Terriers - chocolate yorkies - golden yorkies - buy parti colored yorkie puppies . She had this dog for sale recently at www.colorfulyorkshireterrier.com for $600 ---I offered to buy this dog from Ms (name) and she ignored me-- Brown Sugar is now 6 yrs old and past her breeding prime. Ms (name) bred this dog every heat cycle. #2 female was Alex. a lovely female with tremendous bloodlines. She also had a nice litter for me. I sold her pregnant to Mrs. (name). Alex was bred to a parti dog by the name of "Acorn manor's Panda crossing" Now Mrs.. (name) claims the female was not bred to this dog. this is a very serious accusation as all my dogs are D.N.A'd by the American kennel club. This is done on my part as a voluntary thing--- to assure of the right stud for the right female. I would like proof from Ms (name) that this dog was bred to a different stud! if this were true a.K.c. would have heard about this from Mrs. (name). I have the D.N.a. on all my studs. The offspring of The female dog "alex' can be traced to my stud through the D.N.A. this is the first time I have heard about this accusation! #3 female. Acorn manor's silver SLEIGH BELLS! She was shipped at 3 months old to ms (name). I charted her at 5.5 lbs. upon maturity. Ms (name) claims that this one was to small to breed ---yet she tried to breed her knowing she would have to have a c. section according to Mrs. (name). fron mt reading of Ms (name)s complaints although none of my dogs suit her, she continued to breed them anyway. I offered to take her back for another dog and again ms refused this offer. For several years now Mrs. (name) has continued to insult me, call me a crook a dishonest breeder etc. She has even disparaged me on her web-site Parti Color Yorkie puppies for sale - Yorkshire Terriers - chocolate yorkies - golden yorkies - buy parti colored yorkie puppies. One can only wonder why she has continued to do this. all the other breeders know who she is talking about. If my dogs have all these problems why then is Mrs. (name) still breeding them and making money from them? I have asked Mrs. (name) this---- she does not answer me. thank you for your time. I am responding to a complaint by Mrs. (name) case # XXXXXXXX. The dog alex. I called a.k.C. and checked my records on this dog. When the dog was in my possession I bred her to a chocolate colored dog named Acorn manor's cocoa crisp. this was a chocolate dog not a parti. Mrs. (name) knew full well she was bred to a chocolate dog. My records have the breeding dates Mrs. (name) according to the A.k.c. bred this dog several times more.

1. ACORNMANOR BROWN SUGAR, AKC # TRXXXXXXXX. MS. (name) TOLD ME SHE HAD A SCISSOR BITE. AFTER RESEARCH I FOUND THE SCISSOR MITE IS ACCEPTABLE WITH AKC. BUT UPON HER ARRIVAL TO CALIF. BROWNSUGAR HAD A SEVERE UNDER BITE, WHICH IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO AKC. I HAVE BRED THE YORKIE FIVE TIMES TRYING FOR ONE GOOD FEMALE WITHOUT A BAD BITE. OUT OF 13 PUPPIES - 11 HAVE HAD SEVERE UNDER BITES. AS BREEDERS WE BUY THESE DOGS TO BREED, AND I KNOW OF NO BREEDER INCLUDING MS. (name) WHO DO NOT BREED EVERY HEAT CYCLE. BROWNSUGAR'S LAST LITTER SHE HAD 6 PUPPIES IN WHICH I DID LIST FOR $1,200 EACH. BEFORE THEY WERE OLD ENOUGH TO BE SOLD I DISCOVERED ONLY TWO WERE WITHOUT UNDER BITE. I MADE A TOTAL OF $3,400 ON THIS LITTER. ALL THE LITTERS BEFORE THIS ONE WERE GIVEN AWAY BECAUSE OF UNDER BITE. I'VE HAD THIS DOG 4 YEARS AND MADE $3,400 ON HER. A BIG LOSS FOR 4 YEARS OF BREEDING. YES MS. OFFERED TO BUY BACK THIS DOG FOR $600.00 AND I PAY THE $350.OO SHIPPING. I PAID MS. $1,200 FOR BROWNSUGAR. WHAT A LOSS.

2. ACORN MANOR'S (name) AKC #TRXXXXXXXX. I PAID $1,500 FOR ALEX. MS. (name)'S ASKING PRICE. SHE CAME BREED WITH FULL PARTI COLOR MALE NAMED, "ACORN MANOR'S PANDA CROSSING." IN FACT, MS. (name) HAD SOLD PANDA LONG BEFORE ALEX CAME INTO HEAT. WHEN ALEX HAD NO PARTI PUPS I QUESTIONED THE BREEDING. MS. (name) WAS MOVING AND TOOK ME FOREVER TO GET THE LITTER PAPER SIGNED. IN THE MEAN TIME I HAD DNA'S DONE WITH AKC AND FOUND OUT ALEX WAS BRED TO ONE 'ACORNMANOR COCOA CRISP.' ONLY THEN DID I RECEIVE A LETTER FROM HER TELLING ME OF HER MISTAKE AND HOW SORRY SHE WAS. I ONLY BOUGHT THE DOG BECAUSE SHE WAS BRED TO FULL PARTI. I HAVE SINCE SOLD THE DOG AS PET.

3. ACORNMANOR SLEIGHBELLS, AKC #XXXXXXXX. THIS DOG WAS ALMOST 6 MONTHS OLD WHEN I RECEIVED HER. I STILL HAVE 'PUPPYFIND'S' AD WHERE MS. (name) ADVERTISED HER FOR SALE, SAYING SHE'D WEIGH 5.5 POUNDS. SLEIGH NEVER REACHED 3 #. AND SHE DIDN'T JUST STOP GROWING SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY. THIS LITTLE DOG HAD A VERY LONG NOSE AND SHE WAS ALMOST HAIRLESS. MS. (name) MISREPRESENTED HERSELF AS A BREEDER AND HER DOGS. I DIDN'T LOOSE ANY MONEY ON THIS DOGS PUPPIES, AS HER TINY BABIES WERE VERY MUCH IN DEMAND.

I HAVE ALL MY DOCUMENTS FROM 'PUPPYFIND', EMAILS FROM MS. (name) WHERE SHE MADE THE MISTAKE ON THE SIRE OF ALEX, AND AKC. I HAVE PROOF FROM BREEDERS WHO HAVE BEEN TO MY KENNEL AND HAVE SEEN SLEIGH.

MS. (name) LIED ABOUT ALL THE DOGS SHE SOLD ME. I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND SOME OF THE LOSS I'VE HAD ON THESE DOGS. EVERYTHING IN MS. (name)'S ALLEGATION WITH BBB IS A LIE.

BBB... In regard to the complaint by Mrs (name) about three dogs I sold her case #. Why did Mrs (name) keep buying dogs from me that were of no use? She bred them all and made money from them. Mrs (name) commented on how she loved Sleigh, one of the dogs I sold her. She commented on Puppyfind.com that she loved the dog, and her husband loved the dog. This comment is still there for all to see. As for Mrs (name)s comment that she checked the bite with A.k.C on Brown Sugar. A.K.C. does not care what kind of bite a dogs has----it is the breed club---Y.T.C.A that mentions this is their standard. The breed club does not accept these colored Yorkies. I do not breed my dogs every heat cycle as Mrs (name) does. Also Mrs (name) has made money on all the dogs she purchased from me. I offered to buy Sugar back for $600 because that is what Mrs (name) had the dog advertised for. She ignored me. The dog was advertised on the colorful Yorkshire terrier clubs pages for $600. And Mrs (name) went ahead against her own vets advice and bred Sleigh, she, according to Mrs (name) had a C-section. I feel we have exhausted this conversation. Mrs (name) buys dogs, breeds them and then wants her money back. My offers fell on deaf ears! I have nothing more to say on this topic! I am sure this will go on and on for years to come, because by her own admission she breeds dogs that she claims are horrible! And she goes against her own vets advice with regards to breeding a small dog, putting the life of the dog and pups in jeopardy. Respectfully, (name)

She looks lke a party yorkie with just a ton of white on her. She's very pretty!

If he's not AKC he is probably a mix being passed off as something else and rare so they can charge you to much money. Sorry.
