I don't think so, Ann. These threads seem to be pet quality, if that. You've seen how these threads go into heat (get heated) and, before you know it, out pops a Baby Thread. I'm not sure if this is a well thought out threading program at all. If this one gets neutered (stays neutral), maybe we can stop unethical threading.

Maybe we could start a group....PETT...People for the Ethical Treatment of Threads.

the standard thread is under 7 pages. but most prefer that the female thread is at least 5 pages. the male thread however, can be a little bit smaller.

threads that are under 4 pages are just too small to breed.

of course size is not the only issue to consider. there are other aspect of a thread that should be taken into account. (such as the number of deleted posts within a thread, number of times a thread has been reported...etc.)

anyways, i love my thread, even if it's just a little one. it's still young, so it might still hit another growth spurt. only time will tell. as we all know, there is no way to accurately predict the adult size of a thread. small threads can produce large offspring threads, and large threads of course, can produce a runt thread occasionally.

- I wonder if you can look at the size of the thread when it is a few days old - then double or triple it's page size to predict how long it will be in the end.

Yes, and sometimes, even with careful nurturing, daily feeding of high quality, 5 star posts, and consistently positive posting, a thread just acts like a thread and doesn't behave. Just wait until they start peeing on the carpet.

I believe this little one may be on it's way to becoming a teapot.
