I'm right there with you on that! Pixie is 2 (today!) got her at 14 weeks and I have never left her yet..I wouldn't enjoy a holiday if she wasn't with me and I would constantly be worrying about her...I don't know anyone that I trust enough to look after her even if i did want to leave her...we have holidays where we can take dogs with us. The only time she gets left is around 5 hours a day when i'm working..but thats it.:) | We could start a tiny little club ... "Mom's of Velcro Yorkies" !!! ;) Also, wanted to tell you ... I am not totally oblivious to the reality that there could be a circumstance beyond my control that would take me away from Toto overnight! God forbid that should ever happen. :) I always have a plan "B". My vet in AL and I actually discussed the fact that I trust noone to keep Toto. She said that anytime we ever had to leave her ... she would be honored to keep her and she would keep her, with her 24/7! And, I am fortunate to have another vet here in CO that would do the same! :) |
