We used to think our shih tzu was just a sickly dog since she was a puppy mill rescue. She would have occasional episodes where she would vomit and refuse to eat or drink. We'd have to take her in for IV's and meds. One day I discovered the grape connection and found out I had been poisoning that sweet little thing. She never had another bout and has been a pretty healthy little girl for the past 9 years. We have been pressed to keep weight on her and she is only about 11 lbs now at the age of ten but other than her age catching up to her she is healthy. No grapes for my puppies! |
OMG! You've certainly have had a big day today! I sure hope all works out for you and Pebbles. I'm sure she'll be fine. |
Well it is now the end of the day and Pebbles so far is doing well no signs of upset tummy or diarrhea, she had a poop at 1:00 today and it was fine. :cheer:Thank-you all for responding I was really worried, and the day did not continue to be bad Hurray!! |

A little neighbor girl spit her gum out right on our balcony. Next thing I know it, Suzi has a mouth full of gum, chewing happily ! Before I could get it away from her she had swallowed it ! |
