Lolita is Home!!!!
 

We drove up and picked Lolita up from Jen yesterday. We are so very happy and so fortunate to have such a sweet beautiful baby to come share our lives with us and Laddy. Jen has done an amazing job with her. She rode all the way home (almost 4 hours) on my lap. She has met most of the family already lol. Her and Laddy are bonding so well. No fights just lots of kisses and playing. She still has a potty issue but I am sure with time and patience she will be fine in no time with this. I am posting some pictures of our meeting with Jen and of her after she got home. She can't have a bath due to her spay for couple more days but we did the wash cloth and treated her to a little chi oil and she came out so beautiful I can't wait to see how she will look after her bath:rolleyes:. We had gotten her little dress from Brenda but had to do lots of altering and its still a little big but she looks adorable in it. She slept in her new pink bed all night with no problems we are so proud of her. Laddy loves her to pieces they are having so much fun. Again thanks for rescuing this tiny little girl from a life of breeding so that she can share the rest of her life with us and ty for choosing us.:rolleyes: The first pictures are of Lolo Jen and I at the meeting in Kansas and others of Lolo and Laddy meeting.

Congratulations....she's just beautiful!! Looks like Laddy may be a little jealous of Lolita's bed....but, hey, I'm jealous of it, too!! They make a great looking pair...you must be so proud!

LOL...too funny. Now you'll have to get a matching one in blue. :p

Lolita is beautiful! I am so happy you have her , and she can now settle down into a forever, happy , loving home ! Laddy was so cute in that one picture , he did seem to want to be in he New bed, LOL.

SHe's so pretty, and I don't blame Laddy, Heck I wanna be in that beautiful bed.

I forgot to ask. Anyone have any tips on housebreaking a 5 year old? Right now we are just trying saying nono Lolo and showing her pee pad and the door and taking her outside.

I'm glad to hear she likes her new bed and she looks adorable in her little dress and bow. I'm sure missing her and letting her go was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life. She will always have a place in my heart.

I just watched her like a hawk in the house and would take her out every hour or if she got up to roam around. We only had a couple accidents when I wasn't watching her close enough. She never got used to me tapping the potty bells though before we went out the door. I would just say 'come on Lolo let's go potty' ring the bells and then go outside. She always went potty straight away for me. I would tell her 'good potty Lolo' whenever she went potty. I figure at some point she will catch on with enough practice and start letting someone know when she needs to go outside to potty.

Give Lolo lots of hugs and kisses for me. Tell her I love her too.

Hi Jen:) I know it was so hard for you my DH and I talked about it all the way home. It was hard for us to take her from you. She is doing so well. Only one accident so far so I think she is going to do fine.( If she doesnt we will just clean the floors more lol) Her and Laddy have played so much he is worn out and she still wants to play so he has went to his favorite sleeping spot the top of the sofa which she cant get to lol. She is laying her beside me right now. She has excepted my DH very well also she layed beside Laddy and him in the recliner last night, I told him, uhuh no way you aren't taking her to hehe. My children came to see her last night and all wanted to take her home. She is such a sweetheart. We got her little ears doctored last night and her nose(after a little coaxing) I will keep you posted and send lots of pics so if you get tired of me just let me know. Just wanted to thank you all for the warm wishes. It is truly a love relationship here. I am so amazed at how fast Laddy and Lolita have bonded and how fast she is bonding with us. We truly are blessed.:rolleyes:
