![]() Otis has a huge problem with eye boogers too, but I just soap up the crusty area really well with Johnson & Johnson No Tears and rinse really well. He doesn't seem to mind, and the area stays pretty clean for a couple of days. After that, I just clean the area myself with tissue and water.

![]() To clean Mojo's eyes i follow the breeder's recommendation: wet a cotton ball with saline solution, make the hairs around the eyes really wet, i use a small metal comb (kinda like a flea comb) to get the "boogers" out, I drye it with a tisue if needed...i clean every 2 days, seems to work just fine...Mojo's eyes don;t even have a stain. ![]()

![]() I take her to the sink every morning when we do the grooming bit! I use a cotton ball and let wet them and just wash them out with it. Works really well!

![]() Yup, we flea comb his eye boogies every day, sometimes twice a day, then use a damp warm cloth to clean around the area. Works great! ![]()

![]() I use a warm damp(with sterile saline or sterile water) if the "eye buggars" are hard to soften them up then follow with a warm damp washcloth to clean them out...sometimes after they are soft I use a little flea comb to tease the matter out but am very gentle and keep my finger between skin and hair.....the more gentle you are the more they won't resist. Gracie actually loves the washcloth and I usually end up getting her whole head damp....she tugs at the washcloth and thinks its playtime........oh these yorkies....
