FYI, Strollers are great for travel too, they can sleep in them instead of a crate, if they will do that without any problems. They do have one style that can be used as a carrier and a stroller which I think is great. be sure to ck all of them out so you will know your options. This style would probivde a carrier when you need one for vetting etc. Good luck with you new furbabies..... |
wantayorkie, do you have an update on your pup for the vet thread you started? A lot of people are concerned about his wellbeing. WRT hiking, I would start taking your puppy out as soon as he is safely vaccinated. It's important to expose puppies to lots of different situations and people so they learn the world is a great place to explore. This will also help him burn off all that puppy energy. I took Thor on the San Fran coastal trail this weekend and it was lots of fun for both of us. I did keep an eye out for large dogs and picked him up whenever we passed one, just in case. Since somone else is vouching for Stone Mountain, I would guess that it's fine, though you may want to go slowly and get a feel for how it is caring for a very small dog. It has definitely been an adjustment for me. At the same time, he's still a dog and needs to sniff stuff, run around, etc. Strike a balance between studying falconry and swaddling him in goose down. |
update????? How's the little puppy doing? |

No Place For a Yorkie My opinion would be to leave your baby at home. There is just to much that could happen. Remember how small your baby is and all it would take is someone to step on him or he gets into something he shouldn't. Yorkies love to sniff out new smells and just like children love to eat stuff off the ground. If something happened you would feel so terrible. Teri:) |
