I was going to call my puppy Dante..now I am thinking I like Skylee better..please help me make up my mind, good grief I'm so indecisive :p

I really like them both :D. What if you used Skylee for a last or middle name? I have first, middle, and last names for both my boys - so you could be a dork like me and do that too. :D

Cute. That reminds me of a story. We met a couple through a dog club and hit it off. We got the dogs together several times, went out for dinner, etc. At some point, I realized I didn't know there last names. :confused: Crazy how that can happen. So I was checking out there pup's dogster page and there was his last name "Jones". For the longest time I thought their last name was Jones, until I mentioned it one time and they broke into laughter. Turns out it wasn't their last name at all. :rolleyes:Like you they give all of their pets LAST names. Ha, ha, ha

Haha I went thru so many names before I got Ella. I changed my mind every single day! You'll get it... maybe wait and see him to see which fits.

Anyway.... My vote is Dante just because its easier to say. But they are both cute. :) Good luck

Darlene, if I have to pick, I like Dante a little better too. But I'm not sure I'm pronouncing Skylee correctly. :rolleyes: What would his last name be?

I know, You wouldn't think picking a name could be so challenging!! I picked Dante first, but last night I thought of Skylee..Sky for short and thought it was so cute..I'm more confused then ever :D

Sky-Lee that's how I pronounce it anyway..Sky for short, I didn't think Dante was as cute, but seems it has received the most votes :)..Hmmm, last name, I usually just give them my last name! Do most people give their Yorkies separate last names from their own?

Well, I don't mean to overrun your thread with stories...but I can't seem to help myself:) I like Sky too, btw.

It is hard to pick a name. Ginger came home and was called "I love you I love you, you beautiful cute puppy, kiss, kiss, kiss" for days until we settled on Ginger. (Talk about a name that's hard to pronounce):D:D:D Bernie did me the favor of being a rescue and already having a name.;):)

Good luck, I'm sure little Dante/Sky will be happy with whichever name you decide on.

My choice is Dante. My son has a girlfriend named Skylee and we know another femail Skylee too. I think Skyler is the boy's version of the name.

When we got one of our dogs, my daughter and I were absolutely certain that we were going to name him Oliver and when he arrived, he was a Cooper. He just didn't suit Oliver at all. Of course, since I loved the name Oliver, we had to get another puppy to live up to the name. LOL

I prefer Dante. Skylee doesn't just roll off the tongue, at least for me. I would choose Skylar before using Skylee. You could still call him Sky. Just thought I would add to the confusion.

In fact, the more I think of it I like Skylar Dante.

Do you have your baby yet? I had all these names picked out for my last baby and when i picked him up another name i had nvr thought of hit me and stuck. You could name him Skylee Andeonte and your last name. a little greek or italian. the An is pronouned "on" like ondante. Good luck! it is hard and non dog people just don't get it.
