I had the same problem--I have two boys named Jake and Brody and a girl named Maya. I'm getting a new puppy in a few weeks and just couldn't come up with a name that I loved. Max, Dylan,Cody,Liam were all in the running until I thought of Skyler (can be used for a boy or girl). That was it and his breeder loved it too which made it perfect. Hope you find one you love too!!!!:)

I like Ben, Simon, Marley, Nemo, Fen, Joey, Harley, Beemer, Dakota, Beau, or Bleu. I think I am going to look up names of famous climbers since one of my male puppies likes to climb right up my leg into my lap (he just did it as I was typing those names!) LOL! If there was one word that meant brings joy and makes me smile -- that would be his name! If anyone knows of a word like that in any language -- pls let me know!

Allegro means joyfull cheerful in Italian, I wanted to name Gizmo that but I had opositons to it because people thought about the allegra medication.

Amour is a beautiful name and yes it's love in french it could be both for a boy or girl ......very nice.

I am getting a new baby boy in 3 weeks, I am leaning towards Oliver. But I really like Cooper, Bently and Shadow. :) Good luck.

I like regular boy's names for dogs

My boys are Zach and Mike

But anything that sounds butch I think is great for a male Yourkie

Allegro -- maybe Allie for short? I kind of like that. I try to call out the name like I would if I were trying to get them to follow me inside (when they really want to keep playing outside) to see if a name would work for me. Can't see myself calling for Amour. Allegro, yes.

Well,I love picking out names that fit personalities. My last little yorkies name was Cash, (because he cost alot of it) I had planned on my new puppies name to be Hot Rod but unfortunatly when I recieved him, the name just didnt fit. So we finally chose Ryle, which I like alot. But if I were to get another male his name would be Hollywood, I just love that. I will be naming my new pup, a female Fancy Pants (so cute right?) But of course sometimes you just have to match their face with a name that fits.

Of course....I'm gonna give you my boys names: Harry and Trevor
They both pretty much named themselves.....we called them everything under the sun and then........those 2 names stuck because they seemed to fit and they came when those names were called :rolleyes:
