I love the way my babies smell, even when they are 'stinky'..am i weird? lol

I Like the smell of my yorkies too but I dont like other dog's dog smell just mine. I love their smell freshly bathed also though

I love the smell of Mollys feet..that cheesy grass smell!! My kids think I am slightly mad, which is probably right!! ;)

I call Uni's smell "cutey baby stink". Then when it gets real bad, i don't smell her until after her bath. LOL

My babies NEVER stink... I was always wondering when somebody wrote about the stinky smell of their Yorkies... Mikki even always smells slightly like cookiedough... I could just eat her up! :)

Oh... they get a bath every 2 weeks and they are a lot outside...could it have to do with what they eat?

I LOVE love LOVE the smells of my boys - I bury my nose in their necks, ears, cheeks etc. and just breath in! And even if they're a little bit stinky for some reason, I LOVE their little smells.

Ha my husband and I do the same thing! A friend of mine says it smells like butter!!! I cant get enough of their smells! Clean, dirty I love them all!! I think the face and feet are my favorite. You are not weird at allll!!!!!:p:p:p:p:p

OMG I am obsessed with my babies smells. I had a thread about it a while back :p:p:p I LOVE when Ralphies little ears are stinky, it is the BEST! I like them clean or dirty...I do not discrimate....it all smells good to me ;););)

suki hasn't had a bath yet but i love her and her smell to death..i do give her wet cloth baths if that counts..:p

No, it isn't just you.

I love how Ellie smells.
Her little ears that are just slightly "off" smelling.
Her corn chip smelling feet.
Her neck and the crown of her head.
Her shoulder blades when I put perfume on her.:rolleyes:
I don't like the just came in from outside smell and other dogs do not smell the same at all.

SO envious of the corn chip feet - I hear about this from so many people here, but neither of my boys have it. Maybe I should dip their paws in a bag of Fritos :rolleyes:.

When Baby Chloe was dying, I just kept smelling her and smelling her. I knew I would forget her smell and I was just trying to burn it into my brain. All of mine have different smells, and I love them all.

Thor always has a really nice smell that I can't identify. It's slightly musky, slightly sweet, maybe even a little citrus-y. It's just good. It's a genuinely nice smell, not a I-love-you-so-much-even-your-poop-doesn't-bother-me smell. I think so, anyway!

I love Conner's smells. My husband says he is stinky, but I bury my nose and say, "He smells sooooooooooo gooooooood!!!"

I love smelling my Laya too, even when she is stinky. And I love smelling her little stinky feet. Every since she was little we play stinky feet. I say stinky feet and the sniff her feet over and over. Now when you say stinky feet she will stick them in your face. I love it. :D

Most of the time Ilove their smell but you must remember Sissy likes to roll in worms and then I just can't stand her.

I am glad to know it isn't just me! When we put our other Yorkie to sleep I just keep smelling him thinking I am never going to smell him again, and now our new Yorkie smells just the SAME!!!! It is so weird. Even one of my hair clients told me that my guy smells like hers.. I wonder what it is. Our Golden doesn't have a smell.

I think we must be nuts!!!! I have known people like me in the past and really thought they were certifiable crazy. Now I am one too. It is amazing you can love a little furry buddy so much you don't even mind the Frito toes. Shhh, don't tell "the other side".

I love the way my baby smells. Glad I'm not the only one! :) I was playing with her the other night and she was on her back kicking up her little feet and they were right in my face, her feet do smell like corn chips! LOL. Before I was like what are people talking about, but I got a good sniff at her feet and her feet do smell like corn chips. Love it! :)

i know its so weird but i dont like the smell of other dogs either, just mine. I think maybe only yorkies smell this certain way or maybe its just cause we love them so much that we also love their smell:confused: i dunno but i love their smell clean or dirty...the only smells i dont like is when teddy just comes from running outside, he has this 'sweaty boy' smell but it goes away and also when he has pee on his belly, yuck

well..lets see...i bathe them about once a week, maybe once every 2 weeks cause the vet said not to bathe them too much but i know with teddy my boy, he tends to get smelly faster cause when he pees it gets on his belly area, but that is not the stinky smell i am talking about. It's just this natural smells, on his face, ears, etc, it doesnt smell like perfume lol but its not a bad smell either so i call it stinky. And with London her breath is smelly, even after she got her teeth cleaned it still smells but i like it and her face has this smell to it also. The weird thing is Sophie my other female that passed never had that stinky smell. She always smelled like a baby so it could just be that yours dont either. They all have very diff. smells, good and bad

LMAO BUTTER? lol i had a cavalier king charles as a child and my cousins were afraid of him and always said he smells like chocolate, but i never smelled it? :confused: lol i thought it was funny tho..and then the corn chip feet
