I am glad you got him back, and now he needs medicare attention. Burns are very serious. I have burns, so this has touched me on a personal level. It breaks my heart, to know what your dog has been through. How sick was that "individual" to do what he did ! I came from the Bay area.
It is unbeliable that this groomer place let go of a dog? Allowed a to get out of it's doors? run away? thats maddening! total negligence! A I'm so sorry does not cut it , all of this could have been prevented. Ignorant groomers . How crazy are those groomers? to let a little yorkie run away in San Fransisco? My blood is boiling.
Your baby loves you so much , and kissess you after being through hell. I am so happy he is back home safe where is needs to be. ALL off this just blows my freakin mind.

I know you are just thankful that you have Osito back, but that grooming shop needs to pay the vet bill at the very least. That was so irresponsible for letting one of the dogs in their responsibility actually get our of the building! If they are right on the street like that, they should have multiple barriers before a dog could escape to the outside!

And by all means, pursue criminal charges on the guy that said he had your dog!

I agree with the other posters; you have that guys number on your mother-in-laws cell phone, I would report him to the police, the Humane Society and anyone else that will listen.

I am devastated that this happened to your little guy. I am glad he is home with you, safe and sound. (This is one reason I don't trust groomers.)

you know obviosly it was ciggarettes burns:( but he is better now. also when this guy called there was no number it was private and we did called the police and they came to the house we explain them what had happened and they said it was just a dog the it was not a police matter. so i told them how bout when i give the reward and they do something to me is that when is going to be a police mater???:eek: and they said yes!! i was so mad at the police then.:mad:

I wasn't sure from reading your story if the guy who called you was definitely the one who hurt the dog. There are (clearly) some sick people out there, and it is possible that one person was just sick enough to call and threaten you. Possibly? I can't tell.

I am glad your together again. if you can, bring him to therapy with you. I bring my Suzi with me, and I find that it is most comforting.
